For those experienced MWers - I was thinking of doing something different this year and planning to go to Disneyland from Dec 21-26 to basically spend Christmas at the parks. I see on a crowd forecast calendar it says "forget about it" but just was curious to get some feedback on how nuts it really is. x-mas is my favorite time of year and go during this week every year.here is how i see it for the days up to and including christmas day it does get busy but its managable and if you use fast passes and mw to plan your experience then you will enjoy it.I rarely what more than 40 minutes for a ride and haven't had to in two years,again use mw times and crowds shift around the parks at certain times and during parades and fireworks.one word of advise is that during the xmas season the park is more busy after 4pm and its proably because of the xmas light and its a small world holiday. - pikarich 586.0 #186 9:23AM

Morning everyone - we have a upcoming trip to Disneyland planned for this weekend that we setup a long time ago. Looking at the forecast it looks like its going to be super hot outside for the days we will be there (Saturday-Monday). To add to the above, we bring a couple of products that help us beat the heat. The first is Frogg Togg chilly pads, it's a cloth similar to a chamois that you get wet and it keeps you cool through evaporative cooling for hours. Drink plenty of water. The indoor shows and attractions have cold AC. I reccomend the Aladdin show, which is very funny. Indoor favorites that keep you inside for awhile include Its A Small World, Pirates Of The Carribean, Haunted Mansion, The Little Mermaid, and Soarin Over California. - ScooterMike 1959.8 #35 7:48AM

I think I'm going to do it... Get a premium pass for my girlfriend and me... Even though we live in NorCal it will be worth the couple plus trips we make... Now my question is I am not going to the park until end of feb but can I buy the annual pass now on the website without it taking effect until I go to the park or should I just wait a week before I go or just wait to buy at the park. My husband purchased his online and we didn't end up going for about 3 weeks. Even though he already paid, the first day of his pass didn't start until the first time he visited the park. Yeah I have heard that it starts the date you buy online then heard it doesn't start until it is activated at park.. Good to hear your version. Random act of kindness. Could either be finding someone in the park (and then they give it to u) or adding your name to a list...and then the person doing the RAK uses a random number generator to pick a winner. Hey everyone! My girl and me were thinking of going to Disneyland the week before christmas; what do you guys think about the crowds? We just went in the beginning of April and didn't think the crowds were completely bad but not great. Our other option is the thanksgiving holiday but I have read that it is nuts then. I would say around thanksgiving would be better, my cousins went the week before Xmas and it was sold out, dland was full to capacity!
