Happy New Year everyone. I called the AP hotline twice and received 2 different answers so I am hoping someone knows which is correct. -I currently have the so cal pass. - Question #1 if I upgrade this year can I downgrade back to the so cal next year? Question #2 if I keep the so cal can I get it for my soon to be 3 year old? I thought yes but was just told no. Thanks for your help!

I was able to downgrade my renewal at so cal level back in May. At that time so cal was only available for renewals not new purchases. I was also able to add my 3 yr old to so cal level. We did have to speak to a lead since the CM helping us wasn't aware of this. It helped that we had the renewal letter stating this. If this is still available, you will have to renew on or before your renewal date. It will not be available after.  - MARVELus  695.6 #303 10:44AM
Are you asking about SoCal or SoCal Select? They did away with the SoCal Pass.  If you change from the SoCal you cannot go back to it. They will also sell no new SoCal passes, only new SoCal Select.  - JenGwen323  2051.7 #85 10:04AM
I currently have the so cal. So just to confirm, if I don't upgrade, my 3 year old will need a different pass than I have? - stacycee  228.5 #1688 10:32AM
That's the way I understand it. However Disney CMs may make an exception for you.  - JenGwen323  2051.7 #85 10:47AM
I recently looked at the FAQs on their website and your kid can get the So Cal pass if you have one.  However if you upgrade, you won't be able to downgrade back to it and therefore your child can't get one either. - potatohead25  802.4 #245 5:09PM

They will let me put my 3 year old on my pass the SoCal   My whole family has it they said as long as it's his 1st time getting a pass that they alow it.    Now my 17 year old texted to get the SoCal cause that's what we all have and they said no cause she had a pass before.  (She let it cancelle cause she wanted to take a break, now I'm paying for a signature pass for her)  - 4ladiesandalittleman  133.2 #3070 10:55AM

I saw Fantasmic!last week and I have some questions. Without paying for food, is there any place we can sit to watch the show in our fast pass color section? We arrived at the time listed (about 45 min) prior to the show and they would not let us sit. Then when the standby people were let in it was very crowded. I had a 5 and 2 year old with me and had one on my shoulders (trying not to block an  More...

I heard the Blue Bayou dinner is the only one that allows you to sit. All other meals and free fast pass are standing. - Taunton  1517.9 #120 6:25AM

Hi! Where is the easiest place to eat lunch/dinner inside the parks with 1 adult and a double stroller? Last time the nice cast member carried my tray for me. Thanks for your help!

Anyone?? Bueller?? - stacycee  228.5 #1688 8:38PM
What type of food are you looking for? Are you looking to bring your double wide into the restaurant or can you park it? - LaPearleNoir  2355.9 #71 8:40PM
Either. Prob which ever is faster.  - stacycee  228.5 #1688 8:42PM

Speaking of strollers do they enforce how large the strollers are that you brin into the park. What about enforcement of wagons? I almost bought a wagon to wheel my two younger kids in and then read the park rules. Are these rules that are enforced? - AriellesMom  91.8 #3814 8:53PM
I have honestly never seen a wagon in the park so I'm gonna assume they enforce the wagon rule. Paging IDVandalSkipperCM and BaseballMickey_CM - missmimi90  2034.2 #86 8:56PM
I have never seen a wagon. I don't think they will allow that. - RadiatorSprings4Ever  2184.7 #76 9:21PM
I've never seen a wagon in DL. I think pretty much everything has to be pushed in front of you for safety reasons.  They won't allow roller bags unless they're being carried like a backpack.  I've seen those little plastic car stroller things (and the kid was knocked out sleeping super uncomfortable in it). Hmmm. Now I want to ask some of my security CM friends some questions when I see them next! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2596.9 #59 10:29PM
That being said, I have seen a stroller for four kids before. I'm thinking quadruplets! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2596.9 #59 10:32PM
I saw a kid in the bottom basket of a stroller once. True story.  - phillip...  1371.8 #138 10:41PM
I have a friend with triplets. For a while they used a stroller for 4 with the 4th seat holding all the things you need for triplets. Wonder if you saw my friend IDVandalSkipperCM. I've never seen wagons but I've seen those huge bike trailer/strollers before. - Autoalice  161.4 #2614 10:46PM
Yeah I've seen the Burleys. That's the bike trailer. They're so cumbersome to move though!   - IDVandalSkipperCM  2596.9 #59 10:47PM

Hi! Does anyone happen to know the weight/height restrictions for the strollers for rent??? Thx!!

I've seen adults sitting in the strollers during parades so I think it's pretty high.  - IDVandalSkipperCM  2596.9 #59 5:31PM

I've stayed at both...and they have a different vibe. If you like traditional Disneyland, go with Disneyland Hotel. If you are looking for a cabin like feel and a bit more romantic go with the Grand. Depending on who you go with you can split meals. Choose water over soda and there are a lot of fresh fruit options (especially by the jungle cruise). My husband and I usually split our meals to help cut back on portion size. Also keep in mind you do a lot of walking so you want to stay hydrated! - LisaMouse7531  410.1 #571 8:45AM

I am thinking about upgrading my pass when it's time to renew. Not sure if I figured this correctly or not, but is the premium only about $20 more than the deluxe if I add parking? Or am I having a blonde moment and didn't add this properly?!?!?!?

I don't remember what the difference was back in march but I know getting premium was well worth it. We have spent many holidays and blackout days there. It has been amazing. - PopcornYeti  378.6 #628 2:52PM
Yeah its something like that. If parking was already added on deluxe - ImAlwaysCrazy  674.5 #317 2:49PM
If you can afford a Deluxe Pass it is silly not to get the Primium... unless you are getting several passes. - MickeyFan  1205.7 #157 3:47PM
For the price difference you might as well get the Premium.  Especially if you eat at the restaurants in the park, better discounts with the premium.  Also, if you are like me, my friends and family come to visit and want to go to the park when the Deluxe is blacked out so I wouldn't be able to join them - phisigduchesscv  256.4 #1352 4:43PM
