A very merry unbirthday to you! . I threw a mad tea party today and it looks so pretty at night...but it makes me wish I was at Disneyland of course! Happy Saturday night MWers!!crap I put this in the wrong area! Sorry!
I know it's not even summer yet, but how cold is it in CA during October? Is it jeans and hoodies weather or can you still wear short sleeves & shorts? I'm dreaming of my next Disney trip which isn't until the MW bday celebration....
Has anyone read this blog, "30 Day Park Hopper?" She went to DLR every day for 30 days and blogged about it. Do you think you could go 30 days in a row and not get sick of it? http://30dayparkhopper.com/
Has anyone else seen a wedding IN the Park at Disneyland? I think this was around '98 when I saw it, this Asian couple was in this fenced off area close to the castle. It was just the nuptial couple, the minister, and of course Mickey & Minnie as the witnesses. The thing that made it kind of odd was you could stand right up to the fence and stare at them like they were in a cage. And they were More...
I have a RAK question. If you win, will the person holding it contact you via text or just announce it here on MW? I'm asking because I'm a mom, and sometimes my children expect me to pay attention to them and my husband thinks I should do housework every so often too. Crazy ideas I know. So as much as I'd like to be MWing 24 hours a day I can't. So if you win an RAK but you don't see it and More...
This is me giving away a Disney paperbag album as a RAK last Friday....but I forgot your name! If this is you please say hey! :). We both had MW buttons on our bags, it was so cool to meet another MWer!
Okay MWers, I need help convincing the hubster that it's really better to stay in a Disney hotel than a non-Disney hotel. Can you give me any special perks besides the Character Breakfast & Magic Mornings that might sway him?
Okay, so we bought our son one of those bubble guns in DL last week. The next day it stopped bubbling. We changed the batteries and it still lights up, but it doesn't make bubbles anymore. It cost $12 so I feel like it should work more than 24 hours...or is that the way it goes with park merchandise?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
