Yay!! We are returning to Dl after 5 months of withdrawls.. Will be there on Nov.18 & 19 for my b-day. One question for all. Has anyone done the 2 day 1 day per park tickets? We normally get the hopper tix . We don't want to spend too much on tickets. Do you feel you still have a good experience? Like DCA but love DL kind of feel rushed to see all in one day.
I am always on MW. Seeing all the live pics are cool. When I see something cool I show the hubby. He laughs and says I am addicted to Mw, I am. Well it payed off I showed him a pic of a Halloween deco from a fellow mw..he didn't laugh he said "wow,we should go" planning our trip today! So glad I keep bugging him to look on.
Hallelujah! My little ones go back to school today. First grade and fourth grade. Yay! For those parents who's kids are just starting kindergarten, good luck to you and your little one. For all others have a great school year.
Am I the only one? I don't have a AP , just went to DL from 5/31-6/-4. Didn't finish unpacking when I got back and already I was looking around online to see how much it would be to go back either Halloween or x-mas season. We had so much fun we normally try to go to DL once a year or every other. We live 6 hrs away northern CA.
We recently went to DL and literally dragged my son into Haunted Mansion and assured him he would like it. Well we got stuck on the ride where the door knobs are turning and making loud noises. It was the longest 5 min of his 5 yr old life. What rides are your kids afraid of?
Good bye Disneyland we had a great 4 days..until next time. The magic is over back to reality. Thanks to mouse wait I discovered two great things. Dole whip Mmm. Also, rider swap , great thing when you have a little one. Thanxs to all .
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
