Hey MWers! TODAY WAS MY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!. And next year I'll be an 8th grader! WAHOO!!!!!!! Well that's what happened to me today what's going on at the parks? I haven't posted for a while cuz of school but since school is over I hav the WHOLE summer to catch up on what I missed!
What is the best day you've ever had at DL? Mine is when I was on Spring Tour and we went to DL for the day in the chaperone groups so I went with my friends. And I went on Madderhorn for the first time and loved it! And I stayed from a little after 8am to about 11:30pm, the longest I've stayed in a day. And it was last month on April 10th.
" Wow strangers are screaming for me, there's a conga line of movie stars, it's like a party at Charlie Sheen's house."-Genie "Aladdin". That's the first thing the genie said at the Heritage Festival Awards Ceremony. He said more funny things but I didn't record them. Sorry! At least I recorded this! Enjoy!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
