I've always wanted to take part in dapper days I'm thinking of making a trip in September just for this, can anybody give me advice on where to find clothing? my father is a hairdresser i'm sure he can help out in that department but I've had trouble finding appropriate clothing thanks

The good thing about Dapper Day is all you have to do is dress up a bit. It's really that simple.  Sure you can wear vintage clothing, but lots of regular clothing works, too. I always search Google images of Dapper Day for inspiration.  - JenGwen323  1484.9 #94 9:15PM
Not that I wear dresses, but I hear www.modcloth.com has good deals on vintage style dresses. - DLKenCA  2029.1 #62 1:41PM

We will be hosting a teenage girl from Australia but before the group of kids from Australia come to nor cal they are spending several days in so cal and will be in Disney for New Year's Eve is there any advice I can give her (them) not sure if they will be with a plaid or have some kind of special treatment or if they are going to drop them and say see ya lol but any advice would be helpful

Get your hand stamped if you leave togo to the other Park. Also, on NYE, stay in the Park they wish to celebrate in. It gets to max capacity and entrance to Disneyland can be iffy - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  5016.8 #18 3:16PM

If they want a locker to store extra coats and things, I think they will need to get one as early as possible-if I remember right, the lockers go quickly.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  569.8 #320 11:04PM

I have to say Sunday in the rain was one of my best trips to the parks! I had no expectations just went and and didn't know what we were going to be able to do so we had no cares and no hubby complaining about missing the game(left him at espn lol) it was a fun relaxing trip that I hope I get to repeat soon 😍

Glad you enjoyed it... Trips in the rain always turn out to be our favorites:) - hatgal76  440.7 #443 11:51AM

Suggestions... My daughter and I are headed to the parks today and she does not have a AP should I get her one? We are not so cal residence and don't come here but a few times a year?

The easiest way to figure it out is to count how many days you go and then factor in the discount on how much you spend on merchandise and dining.  For us, the discount basically makes up the difference in cost.  We live in Texas but go about 4 times a year, so having the pass makes financial sense.  I upgraded mine to premium for the bigger discount, but left my son's as Deluxe since he is too young to buy things and we don't have any reason to go on blackout days.  The 20% on merchandise has more than paid for the difference, and if you need parking it is included, which is huge. Hope that helps! - Thumper13  482.0 #394 10:32AM
TheShow's suggestion is spot on. I might add that if  you find yourself going more than 6 times a year I suggest getting the Premium pass for your daughter. (Make sure it's in your daughters name since she will most likely be the one who will always be going).  It is a good investment. You get free parking and the better discounts on everything. As many of us know, we always spend more than we set out to do so the highest discount helps out.  - Maddernhorn  518.8 #359 10:41AM
If you plan on going more than two weekends with three entries each (ex: Fri night-Sun), then it's more cost-effective to do an AP.  Plus, the merchandise/food discounts and parking add up, too.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  569.8 #320 10:56AM
If you go 2 times a year it's borderline, 3 times a year and it would cost less than tickets. But that is assuming you buy multiple day park hoppers. But you get a discount at the Disney hotels and discounts others have mentioned. Be careful of the ap block out dates which you can check on the DL website.  - happiestplace  140.9 #2760 11:07AM

So I have some health issues and last trip to the parks I got really sick ended up in the ER when I got home this is how we found the problems, I have a chance to go to DL in a few weeks for my birthday but I can't walk around too much or I can get sick again (just went to the zoo for 2hours and over did it) I'm fine I take meds but if I go all day I have to use a wheelchair or scooter I feel stup  More...

Use a scooter. If you need it, you need it. Don't suffer because of what other people might think. - DLKenCA  2029.1 #62 11:02AM
Agreed! There are plenty of scooters for rent so you are not taking away from anybody, plus you are in need too! - ShariRenee  5661.4 #15 11:05AM
I agree with this too. I've suffered with chronic migraines for 16 years and it's really tough having an illness that to the outside world you don't necessarily always appear sickly. Do whatever you need to do to take care of you! Good luck and have a great time!! - DisneyLuvinMama  341.4 #635 3:26PM
Your medical condition is not for others to judge. Your health comes first. Do what ever you need in order to avoid another ER visit.  - grimgrinninggoof  31.9 #5294 11:11AM
I also think that your health is nobody's business but your own. As long as you have fun, who cares what others think. - Superspacemountainfan  82.8 #3701 10:28PM

I don't understand stickers? Lol don't be to mean to me about it

Stickers are MW equivalent of emojis that way they can be seen by all. You can find some in the MW store but most are limited & only avail on Tues at 9pm pacific time. I won't be mean to you only here - UTDISNEYFAMILY  1537.9 #90 7:43PM
Thanks, I've been around MW for a few years all the sudden people were talking stickers and sticker night I just didn't get it so it finally got to me I had to ask lol  - lisaw  139.0 #2797 7:46PM

Hi Lisaw, not a stupid question at all!  I was in the same boat awhile ago--I wasn't really MWing for awhile and all of a sudden everyone was talking about stickers, lol 😂  they are basically like emojis, but you can buy them and gift them to people, and everyone can see them. I sent you a couple to get you started.  You can buy them in the MW store (click on the upper left button that has three lines, it will take you to a menu, and the MW store is one of the options).  There are stickers released periodically during the week, but the popular, limited stickers are released on Tuesday nights at 9.  And they're gone in 5 mins, do log on at that time if you're interested, lol.  To use your stickers, you'll see a "Stickers" button with the MW logo to the right of the comment box.  Click on that and your stickers will appear below the comment box (sometimes I have to scroll down a little to actually see them). Hope this helps!   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  569.8 #320 9:32PM
