Carthay Circle for Lunch. Portobello gorditas Ono ceviche and house biscuits everything was delicious. The drinks were the Derby and Pimms Punch. Both were very tasty the Derby is very strong

Afraid I didn't take any pictures as it was packed and I was waaaaay in the back. They had two "screens" (tvs) set up on either side of the stage, too bad they could use the one from Great Moments, but oh well. It was fascinating to see some of the in-progress pictures and getting some perspective on the construction. For example, the Chicken of the Sea restaurant (the pirate ship) was actually built behind where the opera house is now and then moved into place. The Mark Twain was built as two separate pieces, the hull at a shipyard and the rest in...Burbank! Fortunately, they fit together. My girlfriend and I went to Disneyland the last weekend in September for her first trip to the dlr during Halloween. She grabbed a map from each park and a copy of the burn vista street newspaper as souvenirs. It seems she left them in our hotel room after searching every inch of her room.
