I also fill up mine and my daughter's water bottles there. Plus, she likes the potty and sink that are her size.

And most of the things are fairly reasonable price. they are CASH only. No credit cards, checks or payments by leaving your child there. - DLKenCA  2763.7 #53 9:43AM

Can I ask a really kind of dumb or  embarrassing question? Do moms normally bring the child's portapotty with them? Reason I ask is I saw one this weekend hanging off the side of a double stroller.  - secretagentangel  6441.7 #20 2:39PM
That's not something I ever did or have I ever seen. It could've been circumstances where the child really likes their very own potty and feels most comfortable. - misschurro...  7274.0 #14 3:04PM
secretagentangel I have seen this a few times at various places. I don't and wouldn't do that. However, once potty training starts it seems you don't want to mess with it too much so if that's what the kid needs, I can see some parents making sure those needs are met. - KelstersInc2319  60.5 #4524 11:11PM
Maybe hide it in a plastic bag? I get parenting is tough and maybe needed even for special reasons, but it looked a bit gross. And I was snacking as I walked so I just tried to not look. I'm not a super clean freak but it didn't look super sanitary just hanging on the stroller. She had a few kids, looked a bit overwhelmed so I hope it helped her.  - secretagentangel  6441.7 #20 11:36PM

That was my favorite place to eat! And my little one ate it, too!

That's a big bummer. Seems like they were making such great changes with dining for awhile, and now they're kinda back-pedaling to mediocre stuff.  The PGG page is still up on the DL website, but I guess people are saying it's been closed for a few days now.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  627.3 #336 8:45AM
It does seem like they are back-pedaling.  I was hoping it was a rumor, but I tweeted them and they confirmed it.  I look forward to that Greek salad every trip. - Thumper13  499.2 #446 8:48AM
Darn, that's pretty disappointing.  I wish it had been more visible--I bet people didn't even know it was back there.  That was our favorite spot, though: loved the chicken kabob with tzatziki.  I guess I will just go to Bengal BBQ and bring my own tzatziki, rice and Naan.  πŸ˜‚ - Spoonful_O_Sugar  627.3 #336 8:57AM

I'm not sure I've ever been there.  Strawberry brownie skewers sound delish though!  Where was/is it located? - AngiMouse  104.9 #3566 6:00AM
It was back by Goofy's Sky School--Mediterranean skewers with sauce, brown rice, veggies, and Naan, as well as some good salad options. Really tasty and very different from the regular theme park hamburger/hot dog/Mexican food fare.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  627.3 #336 6:35AM
Agreed, Spoonful_O_Sugar. Zomething different and it never felt heavy or like you were eating junkyπŸ˜‚ - misschurro...  7274.0 #14 8:18AM
Yes!  I shared this with my husband for lunch the day before we ran the half marathon a couple years ago and it was just right.  Protein and carbs, but not too heavy-feeling.    - Spoonful_O_Sugar  627.3 #336 8:24AM
Sounds like the perfect combo. ::lesigh:: - misschurro...  7274.0 #14 8:29AM
I have never really explored back there much.  I usually end up at the beer stand, then I walk along the way towards the ice cream cart past the swings.  I'm pretty sad that I have missed it. - AngiMouse  104.9 #3566 4:47PM
Sadly, there was never a consistent line there for the Mediterranean food.   - BaseballMickey  7890.3 #11 12:40PM

My parents, my husband, and I all enjoy the Red Lion. There is a 24 hr Ihop right next door and the rooms have coffee makers, microwaves, and mini fridges. Plus, there is an ART pick up/drop off right in front as well as the Toy Story Shuttle lot next door.

@CentralCoastAuntVon stays at the Tropicana. She says it's great for the money and literally right across the crosswalk on Harbor Blvd. - Quiweez  720.3 #280 8:48AM
We LOVE the Tropicana!! I live about four hours away and like to be right across the street from the park. The shuttles from hotels are nice, but when your exhausted after 12-15 hours in the park, it's nice to walk across the street and pass out!! Plus you are close in case you forget something... Also you are close to restaurants and convenience stores right outside the park.  Tropicana is clean, safe, great priced and the staff is awesome! I highly recommend it!  Enjoy your visit!! 😊 - CentralCoastAuntVon  86.2 #3895 8:41PM
I agree that a quick walk across the street sounds perfect after a long day at the parks! That pro might have just sold me! Thanks! 😊 - MaddForMansion  605.8 #349 8:57PM
We have stayed at the Anaheim Majestic Hotel on Ball Road. They have a free bus shuttle that runs from opening to closing every half hour. Their food restaurant is very reasonable and the food is very good. The rooms are huge but the bathrooms are small, hotel built in the 60s. We have stayed there for decades. Used to be the Sheraton. Hotel looks like a castle. They have AP rates and lots of specials. Good luck and have a great visit. - jacdanfan  12150.4 #6 9:03AM

Cool , they probably need to increase ticket prices because so much is opened. Since roa  water is being drained it makes sense. The waters of roa  feeds into other areas including jungle cruise and serves as a natural water flow and filter. Although rumors have it that they are trying to dam up near the front so they can at least have the areas around but railroad to splash with water but are concerned with earthquake safety, it would make sense to close jungle cruise because of the water issues.  - pikarich  5905.3 #22 7:45AM

I look forward to using my money towards museum family memberships, Pretend City visits, and fun day trips for my daughter once my pass expires in Jan and she turns 3 then, also.

As someone who doesn't live in SoCal and uses my AP only a couple or a few times a year, the increase really doesn't bother me at all. I have a Premium AP. The current cost of that pass was $779. New Signature Pass is $849 and it includes free PhotoPass access. This is actually a better deal than what I currently have for me. (I did just renew my Premium for $719, so I won't be getting the new pass, anyway.). Not everyone lives locally and can be at the parks 200 days each year. I have never gone during the Christmas break because, frankly, the crowds have scared me off. That is why we do thanksgiving when we want the holiday vibe. Don't the holidays begin around November 11th each year?  So that is about two months' worth of holidays for those who wish to enjoy that time.  If I were to renew my pass next year, I would simply get the Signature pass. I don't need the highest level just for two weeks at Christmas. I understand those who aren't happy. But, I do think it doesn't have to be as horrible as everyone is making it out to be. Disney is a business. They are in the business of making money, right along with letting you make memories. The new normal for some may have to be to see Disneyland as the treat that it is for much of the country or world who does not have it in their backyard. Hopefully, our lives are full of so many things. Disney is one part of it. It shouldn't be everything. Not trying to tick anyone off here. I do think their timing stinks with this. But, just wanted to show  that there is another perspective and way of looking at this. 😊 - MeridaFan  4244.1 #36 10:51AM
Yes this makes sense but for people who live in So Cal I fell the photo pass should be an option because I really never use it.  - AlyssaDisneyland  427.8 #532 10:54AM
AP prices have gone up every year. SoCal people have had the choice of two APs that no one in the rest of the world have been able to purchase. It is not a necessity for people to buy the most expensive pass for themselves.  So you do have other options that others do not. They also have given special discounted tickets to SoCal people throughout the year. I think those are great options for those who live down there and cannot afford the more expensive passes. Again? This is another viewpoint. And I realize there is only one SoCal pass available now. And I have no idea if they will continue with the other one indefinitely. Just trying to point out that there are actually some positives for some people here. Tourists bring in a lot of money to Disney. Lots of us enjoy using the Photo Pass system.  - MeridaFan  4244.1 #36 11:03AM

Correction I go 201 times - pikarich  5905.3 #22 11:09AM
I could not agree more, MeridaFan.  Also, it doesn't have to be all or nothing!  I understand the AP price is high, but that doesn't mean people have to swear off Disney forever.  Some people would kill to go just once a year. - Thumper13  499.2 #446 11:11AM
MeridaFan...I agree with you. We live in Oregon and, although we're not happy about the increase, we see why it was needed. I would have liked to know ahead of time, though. We still think you get your money's worth of quality, family entertainment. And if some of this increase goes to pay cast members and adds more jobs for new cast members and Star Wars Land for everyone I'm all for it. That said...we don't have young kids at home anymore and don't have to pay for them, along with all the extras while in the park. I can definitely see and agree with both sides. You have to make the best decision for your own family.  - GrandCircleTour  363.8 #651 11:26AM
We have 2 AP holders who renewed and upgraded to Deluxe in June, so they will probably need to rethink their budgets for the next time. We are having issues with budget and rooms right now... Does anyone know why there can't be a 6th person in a hotel room at the resort for a standard or premium room like Woods/Courtyard at the Grand Californian? We are wanting to be a group of 6 adults and a second room for just one additional person just seems excessive! (I think room occupancy max is 5 people?.) Mom has her heart set on the Grand, but we'd only be staying the one night with Disneyland potentially open until 12am, so only about 6-8 hours of sleep. We'll get a great AP discount, but trying to convince everyone to pay isn't easily justified for everyone! Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA! 😁😻 - Catski23  26.9 #6488 11:46AM
City of Anaheim and they are passing it right to us So Cal residence. SMH. - davidmariarivas  3.8 #26394 7:16PM
I agree with you 100%.  Great points! - AZDisney  610.4 #343 7:25PM
davidmariarivas , I hear your frustration but please don't take it out on one of the nicest MouseWaiters here. It's not a conspiracy, she doesn't work for Disney, she's just trying to be fair. I'm sorry you're so unhappy. I hope it gets better.  - secretagentangel  6441.7 #20 7:48PM
@davidmariarivas definitely not cool to be so unkind to one of my closest friends. You need to check yourself. She's entitled to her opinion . Everyone is.., but no need to throw out unfounded accusations  - eviljules  1445.4 #122 8:11PM
I didn't even read what you wrote because its soooo long, but I liked it anyway since everyone else did. - phillip...  1362.0 #135 7:45AM
it has been nonstop peak crowds this year, no abating like in the past, no off season days. Anaheim is not passing anything on to sc residents. I vote and live in anaheim. The council took a loss with the gate tax. Disney is using some of the money to fund the new star wars, land purchases, new high rise parking structure, and since they can get the money, they are trying to reducee peak crowds. So do your homework and know the facts. I have lived in anaheim for 54 years in the shadow of the park. Its a private business and they are doing what they need to do. The β€œour park” mentality is changing. Our streets are so congested with cars it takes me 45 min to an hour to drive 6 miles to my job in santa ana. I have not used the gridlock freeways for the last 5 years, it seems that everyone that left CA has come back all at once. I hope price increases will slow down the crowds but I doubt that. Disney must have great actuaries. - Plumiegirl  10325.3 #9 11:30PM
I just genuinely wish they had a kids AP, it just doesn't seem right that my 3 yo will be paying the same ticket price and can't go on anything other than Fantasyland rides.  - bellapistola  158.4 #2634 1:30AM
That makes a lot of sense to me.  - MeridaFan  4244.1 #36 2:23AM
agree! - MsTikiMermadam  1252.4 #142 2:47AM
I was just thinking that about kids. - minniemonika  229.2 #0 8:17AM
I was just thinking this. With a baby on the way it just seems funny that I will have to buy an annual pass for them at 3. Really what is the difference between 2-3. They are still restricted to the same attractions.  - DisneyBrideΒ°OΒ°  448.9 #506 10:06AM
Excellent point!  My boys were about 6-7 years old when they started going on enough rides to make the price worth it. - DisneyPiratePrincess  272.9 #1175 10:34AM
Me too! They should have a kids 3 to 9 AP!  - DCMAGurl  227.7 #1683 11:40AM
Totally agree!! - 1Princess3Princes  643.2 #325 12:23PM
Yes, that's what kills us, paying for 4 is tough. Not like my single days. - brigeet  602.9 #352 3:27PM
I agree.  - TrueFromOzLovesDisney  538.0 #402 9:08PM
Maybe it would be better if the age was raised? Instead of 3 to 9, maybe make it 4-10? Or by height? 40" and up need tickets?  - Arielkitten13  306.5 #908 9:09AM
Thought about this long and hard and have decided were going to renew our passes. My daughter is 2 now and sharing these disney moments with her is absolutely worth it! See you guys soon at the next meet up.  - EVILQUEEN1  33.2 #5853 11:01AM
As a 10+ year Premium Passholder this increase won't detour our family from buying our passes. It only makes us want to visit more often, being our pass has passed the $1K ceiling. Anyone else feel the same?  - snappy  442.1 #511 4:34PM
