The last time I was at Disneyland I saw this man dragging his screaming child on Space Mtn. She was about 5 and was screaming no daddy I don't want to ride. Who does that to there child, it was awful! My kids weren't afraid of anything at Disneyland but if they were I wouldn't have done that!!

Builds character, like Yeti said! Keeps your kid from growing up to be a sissy-la-la :). Seriously, though, dragging a kid onto a ride if he is hysterically scared probably isn't a good idea, but forcing one to go on because you're sure he'll like it and that he will feel proud of himself for doing it seems okay to me. - Spoonful_O_Sugar
