This is a tricky one. By the way, don't feel bad for posting this question. People should be able to handle an indirect question without being hurt and or angry. When I was 16, I was assaulted by one man, outside a McDonalds on a very busy Sat night. Not one single person, tried to help, or call the police. I had to. They all stood by and watched, like it was a tv show. Personally, if you see something wrong, you should act on it, within reason. Nobody needs to be a hero, but everyone should be dilligent. If you think you saw something, then I don't think asking security to check it out is wrong. As far as all of us being teens, yes we all were, and yes we did or did not do things that we shouldn't have. That doesn't make it right or should it make it an accepted practice. I have a son who is nearing 14. I tell him all the time to always act in public as if I'm standing there. Period, no exceptions. Do I expect that all the time? No, but I pray for it. Teens and adults getting drunk and high is nothing I want to be around and I shouldn't have to be. I don't want to go to a public place and have my sob subjected to that behavior. Yes, alcohol is everywhere, that doesn't make it ok for some drunk or high person to have free run of Disneyland. If for sure you see something wrong, report it. God forbid one of those high kids left the park and crashed their car into a family, injuring or killing someone. The old adage, better safe than sorry applies. My opinion.
