I have a question for everyone. I know that dinsney recently said that they would begin to enforce the fastpass return time. Does anyone know if they are actually doing this? I will be there tomorrow and it would be helpful to know.
I'm super excited for spring break this year for two reasons. #1 I'll be coming home to California, and #2 I'm bringing 4 international students with me who have never been to Disneyland. The problem is, we only have one day to spend at the resort. So, my question for all you is how do we decided what to do? Unless you have an empty park (wishful thinking), it's impossible fit everything in in one More...
Alright MW'ers, obviously Disneyland plays a huge role in each of our lives. So I'm curious, what is your favorite memory from the parks? Mine was the first time I took my niece, the look on her face when she first met Mickey was priceless.
Hi MW! I was on YouTube tonight, and I stumbled on this great video on PS 22 at the DLR last march. If you havn't see these kids be sure to check them out. Be sure to watch all the way to the end. The link at the bottom is to the performance at Disneyland http://tinyurl.com/6nktcpt
Today has been my favorite day in the lounge for a long time. I've seen some awesome photos today, many of which reminded me of childhood trips to the park. Thank you to everyone who has posted, and a big thanks to admin for making it all possible!
So, I did my first meet up last saturday in the parks, and it was sooo much fun that I have decided to host a holiday meetup at the parks. The tentative date is December 21 so that delux AP's can come to. If anyone is interested in helping to organize it would be greatly appreciated. See you at the parks!
Well, another successful trip to Disneyland is over, and I have the blisters to prove it! I wanted to post this yesterday, but I couldn't get any data in the park. Had a great time meeting some awesome MW's, and a big thankyou to the Evil's and Donnievegas for introducing me at the astroblaster meetup. For now, it's back to Montana, GO GRIZ!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
