Mine would have to be when I took my husband in 06. He had never been, and really wasn't that excited. But as soon as got there he was amazed. We hit indie first...and he just couldn't believe the magic in the parks. He also couldn't believe the shows. We watched Fantasmic and he said he felt like a little kid again. After that he loves Disney almost as much as me.

The first time I took my son...I cried. Still do =) - Melli_mo  526.6 #458 8:55AM
my reunion with my daughter two years ago. I'll never forget it. - mochamistie  273.2 #1273 8:58AM
The first time I took my great nieces and nephews. It was a complete surprise for them. We kept saying we were going to the "museum" in order to justify the trip, suitcases, hotel. Finally, walking across the street to DL and seeing the signs, they realized where we were. They screamed and cried "were going to Disneyland". Their reaction was priceless. Since then, I take them at least once a year. - Tammilani  57.8 #4821 11:57AM
June of last year when we went to DL after the deportation hearing was rescheduled. All three of us went and it made a terrible day a fun day. Then, it was the happiest place on earth. - sr_citizen_space_ranger  87.6 #4014 12:16PM

That is freaky. I hate spiders. Makes me glad I have two cats that sleep by me. I haven't seen a spider in awhile cuz they think they are toys!

Hope you like it. Love my Droid! My wife was looking at the iphone but ultimately decided she'd rather get the thunderbolt! Ka-chicka ka-chicka! And from a customer service standpoint, the iphone can be a headache..... :-P - ChipnDalefan  13.6 #10090 8:46PM
We get really strong wind here too miadawn128. One year, we had a gust of 103 mph. Sustained winds of 60-70+ mph. It was really scary. We can't have patio furniture in the backyard because of the heavy winds. I bet your redwood tree is beautiful! What a treat to have that in your own backyard! Wouldn't be very good if it fell! 😳 - DisneyDiane316  3055.1 #57 9:21PM

Thank you!!!!

I just finished "Walt Disney: the Triumph of the American Imagination" by Neal Gabler. It was excellent. I highly recommend it! - disney42dude(CM)  522.2 #461 10:32PM
Walt Disney An American Original by Bob Thomas - Chejaguar  611.9 #385 10:50PM
Here's another vote for the Bob Thomas biography. Bob had lots of direct contact with Walt when he worked as a reporter. - 50sKid  528.9 #453 11:13AM

Thank you Admin, I feel this has caused more harm than good. And we all may have been blaming a girl for doing something she had no control over. Lets all just give her the benefit of the doubt. - OutNumberedMom  813.8 #275 9:41AM

Geez, and here I was trying to come up with interesting stuff to say just to keep my numbers at the level they were when we left the park. I don't even know where the like button is! - secrettripper  5.4 #19348 9:32PM

I just googled it. Now I understand...kind of lol.

Well Mickey Mouse is leaving on a long journey so Minnie makes Mickey a bear and names it Duffy to accompany him on his adventures... - DonaldMissingPants  304.1 #1014 8:34PM
Duffy is extremely popular in Asia. Probably just moved him here, thinking it'd be similarly popular - goinghometime  24.3 #7242 8:39PM
He's very popular in Disneyland Japan too!! - MickeyLvr  24.4 #7231 8:42PM

For me it was the Skyway, I remember riding it with my family. The people mover was fun. And the old submarines. I got to ride those all by myself at 12 years old. It was pretty neat...my dad didn't want to go on them so he let me go alone...makes you wonder how us 80s babies made it huh?? Lol

The only ride is still there! My wife and I first date was opening night of Fantasmic. Wish I could relive. - GoofyJoe  1906.6 #106 5:05PM
I have fond memories of seeing the Electrical Parade for the first time when I was about 8 or 9 I think. and my dad bought me a little Minnie Mouse figurine which I still have. - thedorkside  29.4 #6588 5:07PM
People Mover, Lion King Parade, Country Bear show, Electrical parade. I was younger back then and I remember wanting a hat soo bad but my mom would never buy me one. So when I was finally old enough to go alone I got one right away lol - Miss.B  7.3 #15241 8:29PM

WE have several too. There are some really great ideas here. We did use them to eat popcorn out of at home...but thanks for the other ideas. :)

i use my mickey xmas bucket as a decoration in the kitchen. occasionally i will put cookies in there, but other than that it sit there - ERICKA  491.5 #498 9:01AM
I reuse them when I go to the movies. You could also use them as goodie bags/gifts for a kids bday party. - DznyHeart  81.2 #4170 9:02AM
What a great idea to use them as planters! A Mickey herb garden! Or I wonder how they would work as light covers down a walk way in the yard!? Cute cute!!! - yellowtonka  244.7 #1553 12:50PM
My son uses them for his lil action figures. He also packs them with small toys for road trips. - vegasbrat  435.4 #580 1:36PM

I got sprayed in the face when we went in 06....

Ew no that water is so nasty! - RickeyCalifornia  158.1 #2752 7:28AM
