Thank you all for the kind comments! We received Duffy as a Christmas gift from my oldest son and his wife. My son named him "Duffnell" after Vern (Vernell)...so now we are Duffy people...we used to laugh at how silly. Duffy people are and now we are them...lol. We had so much fun finding photo opps for him yesterday! I made his hat the night we brought him home because my son said mom, you need t More...
Happy Friday!! I'm so glad it's Friday! It's been a long week. I did crappy trying to stay on plan and gained 2.6 pounds this week. But today is a new day and I'm back on track. And back to counting points. We're going to Disneyland tomorrow. :)
I'm skipping them this year as I spent so much $$$doing Tink weekend. I might volunteer though. I've never volunteered for any of the Disney runs before but I think it would be a great experience. I'd also like to volunteer to help out in the Sparkle Skirt booth at the expo.
Congratulations!! I have been on WW for a couple of years but I've been in a rut. My meeting is this morning and I am committing to doing Simple Start for the next two weeks. Reading about your success confirms that I'm making the right choice.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
