it was amaazing! the view was beyond words! I would post pics, but I have over 70 lol. It was basically a steady incline with some flat levels. In the end I felt accomplished and my butt hurts, definitely feeling it tomorrow! WORTH IT! - Madi  204.1 #1817 10:18PM
Glad you enjoyed it! I've always wanted to do that hike--hopefully someday! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  529.7 #332 8:40AM

Thx! I know that I've had "epiphanies" before and y'all must get tired of hearing me say it, but the part I forgot to say was that I saw a pic of myself and my son taken last night and said OMG...who's that fat, old lady next to my son?? Time to get serious, and a birthday is a good time to start over! - msdizmaui  623.6 #272 10:46PM
it doesn't matter how many times you have an epiphany, just as long as you make the commitment to start and learn along the way :) You are fabulous! - Madi  204.1 #1817 8:53PM
I hope you enjoyed your birthday. Maybe keep that picture handy to motivate yourself in the future. - Mrs.mouse  515.8 #346 4:02AM

To finish Insanity! 30 more days :)
My small goal is to work out everyday and to make a healthier choice at every meal. - Mrs.mouse  515.8 #346 6:51AM
Perfect! Small changes over time will get you to where you want to be! - vernswifevickie  399.4 #481 4:43AM
Give up soda and just drink water (and stay on Jenny Craig to the letter). Does anyone know of a brand of water flavor stuff with no aspartame? - msdizmaui  623.6 #272 10:50PM
True Lemon. They have a bunch a different flavors and they are all natural. I've seen it at target. - Fanatic4Disney  267.3 #1059 11:35PM
Thanks so much for the tip. I've never heard of True Lemon, but it looks good. I tried to order online and the shipping was going to be $50.75!! Thank goodness it shows that it's carried at Safeway. Have you tried it? - msdizmaui  623.6 #272 1:42AM
No, I haven't tried it yet. I should. I have a small addiction to Coke Zero. :-/ - Fanatic4Disney  267.3 #1059 10:25AM
Maybe try Amazon if Safeway doesn't have the flavor you're looking for. $50 is a lot! - Fanatic4Disney  267.3 #1059 10:27AM
I gave up soda a while back. I've been keeping an ice tea jar in the fridge with water and fruit in it. Right now it has pomegranates seeds in it. It doesn't take much to infuse it with a little flavor. When I am ready for a drink I add a little stevia to it, and maybe a splash of lemon juice. Last week I used sliced strawberries in it. I've also done it with blackberries and blueberries. It's really refreshing. - vernswifevickie  399.4 #481 4:40AM
MDM, have you tried flavored mineral water? We get a big flat at Costco for 6-7 bucks. No artificial sweeteners and it's bubbly, so it is kinda like soda. I also do what Vickie does with tea and ice water: just slice up fruit and throw it in a pitcher and keep it in the fridge. I really like ice water with strawberry and lemons. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  529.7 #332 8:33PM
SoS...are you talking about "Ice" Sparkling Water? I just discovered it and it seems too good to be true! Absolutely delicious, zero calories, no Aspartame, and with vitamins! The stuff is the best! - msdizmaui  623.6 #272 12:23AM
Yeah! It's so good! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  529.7 #332 7:18AM
These are all great small goals!! - vernswifevickie  399.4 #481 7:52PM
To finish Insanity! 30 more days :) - Madi  204.1 #1817 8:49PM
Insanity is no joke. I made two weeks into the second month and had to stop. I developed tendonitis in my left shoulder (more due to my weight than the workout I'm sure) and was taking to long to recover between workouts. - GoofyMom77  476.7 #382 10:20PM
I am so in awe of those if you who do Insanity!! - vernswifevickie  399.4 #481 4:42AM
In my weight loss journey, I have lost 55lbs and am still amazed of what i can do. I believe that insanity will be a highlight of my weight loss lifestyle :) It is no joke, but I love it and I'm getting fond of sweat lol! I have lost 3.5 inches off my body so far and 5lbs :) - Madi  204.1 #1817 10:36AM

As everyone said, if you are feeling and looking great, who cares about the number! I know we all look at the number to make ourselves feel better, but look at the mirror. You're gorgeous! :)
That had happened to me before! It's hard to not get discouraged. It's obvious you are looking better, are you feeling better? Stick with it. :) - Mrs.mouse  515.8 #346 4:42AM
I've experienced almost the same thing.  I hit a plateau that has lasted for months now, but everyone tells me I look like I'm still losing.  My hubby says it is because I am building muscle and that weighs more than the fat.  So keep it up....eventually the scale will budge again. ;0) - D55CR  249.9 #1220 10:22AM
