Hey mousewaiters! In march I'm taking my dad to the parks for his birthday. He hasn't gone in about 10 years. I go every 3 months or more. A lot has changed in 10 years and I want to show him a good time. I know for his birthday dinner I am making reaervations at carthay circle theater. However, I'm open for suggestions on other cool ideas that would make his birthday a little more magical!

Wow that sounds like a great birthday! Carthay is great for dinner. I would imagine then he has not even seen DCA if its been 10 years, so I'd start there. Especially Carsland. If dad is not physically limited, walking tours at DL can be awesome. Be sure to include a show like Aladdin. I'm sure whatever you choose will make it a great trip!! - Willierose

39 days until I'm at the parks again! In my opinion Halloween time is the best time to be there. Fall is such a lovely season, and Halloween is such a cool holiday!

it was only until june or july 1st for those who renewed early. the only other trick was people finding the passes for sale at the grocery and other stores for the old prices but vons and ralphs now only have new prices. Hope this helps. - secretagentangel

If you do have to pay the higher price, just put down a little more $$$ to offset the increase on your monthly payments! I think on the premium you'd have to

Dinner...reservation. Lunch...walk in and the place is yours! The lunch menu has some dishes that you may see for dinner. You have to go! Very upscale and the CM's are very accomodating! - MelindaLuvsDisneyland

Radiator springs racers breaks down a lot, why? What seems to be the problem? To many people riding the riding? Is it to high tech and it has bugs that need to be worked out? Because its similiar to test track at WDW, and during my visit there test track didn't break down this frequently or not at all just curious on other thoughts!
It is a new ride system that CM's here in the parks are getting used to operating...with a brand new attraction and ride system, there are going to be various things that need to be worked out...several things may cause an attraction to go down (ie vehicles backing up, certain show elements not working correctly)...its all a learning process for CM's...these things will run their course and in the long run, will make for a smoother attraction operating experience :-) - uscdisneyteacher

Are the enhancements on the Matterhorn a huge difference then before? Besides the seating arrangement? Is the track smoother? Etc...
Rolls smoother but still get whipped around, the yeti- Harold is much louder don't know why. Tracks are the same, line appears to move a bit better - Plumiegirl

The ride seems slower!!! At least on the left side, I rode the right side and it seemed faster for some reason, but that could be because it was my last time riding it. and the bobsleds are like having your feet in stirrups...but that could be because I'm 6 Ft. - jamielynn
