Oh sweetie!! Hang in there... I know your road is tough, I have also walked in those shoes. I was a single mother of two :( I had no education (I was a high school drop out..pregnant with my first at 17). It was kind of strange reading your post tonight, just a few hours ago I was on the phone with my 20 year old trying to help her through some tough time she is having and when I hung up I started talking to my husband about my life back then... How it was so hard! There was a time that I had to sleep in my car :( Now, all of these years later I realize that all of those rough times made me stronger. Believe me, I cried and felt like all was lost, like I just couldn't hold on anymore...then I looked into my children's eyes. Those beautiful faces needed me! The needed a strong figure in their lives. I wiped my tears and just kept moving forward. I worked the graveyard shift at the hospital 40 hours a week and went to school. I am proud to say that I was the first college graduate in my family :)) My oldest son is now 26 years old!! He just graduated from college and is a Registered Nurse. He thanked ME for being such a good mother to him. I have since remarried and I have two more little chickletts :)) My circumstances are far different now then when I was raising my first two. I NEVER thought I would remarry or have more children, but I was blessed!!! My dear sister, have faith in God and yourself!! You are a strong, beautiful gift to those around you.
