My favorite Easter memory is going to Idyllwild with my entire family. My mom for some unknown reason always thought my sister and I had to be in this big fluffy dresses with these patent leather shoes. Well one year I decided to go exploring down by the creak before any of the adults could even get out of the car. Well being the clutz that I am I fell head first into the semi frozen stream not once but twice. My Grandpa ending up coming in to get me and we ended up having to wear blankets for a while until our clothes dried. My family was very poor when I was growing up. I watched the mouseketeers on tv all the time and so wanted to go to Disneyland when I was little but my parents could never afford it. When I started grade school a friend that I made invited me to go with his family. While I was sad that my parents weren't able to go I was excited to finally be able to go myself. That memory of first entering the park was magical. Later on in life I was thankful for the sacrifices my parents made to allow me to enjoy some things they weren't able to. - CaptnSparrow
