Hey, I was really looking forward to go to Disneyland today but its a cold day out and kids are already coughing. I'm really looking forward for great pictures. :-) Happy Mothers Day!

Sorry for the post earlier, I swear this thing hates me. WE are geting our AP and just got a point and shoot cameras. Many MWers are great photographers, any tips for a noob? I read one about iso to 800 in dark areas or something... Thanx ahead, really appreciate it. :-D

Try to find the beauty in small things. Pictures of the Partners statue and the castle are always enjoyed but it's really neat to see pictures of some of the small, neat details of Disneyland. Don't be afraid to try shooting from a different angle to get a really cool picture :) - Aquata 292.2 #659 9:39PM

ISO 800 will give you "grainy" digital images in the dark that you can not edit out when they are in JPEG format. With small point and shoot cameras I suggest using ISO 400 for inside and ISO 100 when you are outside in the sun. - MrFantasia2000JP 23.5 #4768 9:40PM

I always put ISO on auto and adjust the aperture manually. Typically, the ISO on a sunny day should be around 400. In dark areas, turn the ISO the highest your camera can go (typically 3200 or higher) - BaseballMickey_CM 2821.2 #16 9:48PM
