I can't believe how much drama there is on a forum that's supposed to be about the happiest place on earth. It's a little disappointing to sit down and get excited about being able to check MouseWait and then see all of that. Most of us are adults and I think we should all be acting that way. This is really sad...
***RAK CLOSED*** Here it is...another cupcake RAK! The cupcake pictured below is a Pumpkin Spice cupcake, however instead of being topped with a pumpkin I will put a chocolate Mickey head on top. The winner will receive half a dozen (6). Here's what you need to do: a simple "add me please" will do, but if you'd like tell me your favorite sweet to have inside the parks. Seeing as cupcakes don't shi More...
I hope all of you that were brave enough to stay last night had fun. We decided not to stay and after reading some of the posts in here it seems we made a good decision. Other than the unruly teenagers, I'm sure it was a blast! My only regret is not getting to see the sunrise. Oh well, we're on our way back to the park right now! Maybe we'll see some of you! Have a wonderful day!
So, Bry and I won't be able to make it to DL until about 10pm tonight. I realize it's late, but can anyone tell me whether there's a chance of us getting buttons and t-shirts? Any information is helpful! I hope you're all having fun! (:
I was just thinking I should add to my (slowly growing) collection! (Left to right: big baby, Hamm, Lotso, Woody, Rex, 3 Fairies, Fairy Godmother, Minnie cupcake, WDW 40th anniversary collectible). Who is in your collection?
So excited to head out to Disneyland after class on Wednesday night. We won't be there until about 10pm Wednesday night, but we'll definitely be staying until 6am the next morning. I'm so excited! Who else is going!?
Because I haven't been on MW in a while I haven't been able to share some of the exciting things that have happened while at the DL resort. On February 19, 2012 I celebrated 2 years with my boyfriend (spaceranger88). He took me to Blue Bayou for dinner and we stayed at a hotel near the park. By the end of our second day I still hadn't decided what I wanted until I walked past the pearls in DTD. I' More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
