There's a lot going on. With all the animatronics and such I'm amazed it even works most of time. I couldn't imagine what a ride system like that has built into it for safety too.

People take flash pictures. Flash can mess with the sensors and animatronics. Just one piece of animatronics doesn't work, they have to reset the system. Sometimes you might notice some characters aren't moving when they talk... It might be reset soon after! - LaTruce 1644.6 #45 12:43PM

In review, I thought it was pretty good, but I still prefer Fantasmic over WOC (it has more characters, live action stunts and a fire breathing dragon. How can you beat that?). I'm kind of a traditional Disney person, so I wanted to see Mickey and the gang in it, but they never showed up. Anyways, I caught myself singing along and reciting the film clips as they were playing (being the Disney fan I am), but wasn't too fond of the Brave part (felt like a giant ad). One thing I really liked was the lasers in the Buzz Lightyear flying part and the fire effects for POTC. I did have to watch the show from quite a distance away (near the extended queue for Ariel's Undersea Adventure) because I didn't have a WOC fast pass, so maybe if I were closer to the water, my experience would have been a little different.
