My husband and I are going to be in the area on mon and tues. we cannot afford to go to the park but plan on spending some time in downtown disney and were considering doing a character dining at one of the hotels. I am wondering which you feel is the best? and which has the better character interactions?
I would recommend Goofy's Kitchen...great selection for breakfast/lunch and always has plenty of characters on hand. - BombFrogFormerCM  699.1 #225 1:28PM
For buffet items Goofy's Kitchen, to order off a menu StoryTeller's. I have not done the one in Paradise Pier yet. Character interaction for both were about the same. - Lelundrial  468.4 #392 2:14PM
Goofys kitchen definitely - goofydad909  1868.0 #66 2:20PM

I have been mia for a long time. Have had a lot of life changing events recently....most devestating is finding out the only procexure that dr believe will help my husbands back costs 5000 and our insurance does not cover any of this. I am defenitly trying to keep his spirits up. Being 27 and told you may eventually loose all feeling and use of his legs has taken a hard hit on a man with a new bri  More...
I'm sorry things are rough right now :(.  There is a light at the end of your tunnel, don't forget that.  Have you looked into a different insurance?   - Linzee  870.5 #176 12:57AM
We have been looking. All that I have checked into say it is a new experimental procedure so it is not covered. The specialist has preformed 45 of the procedures with 44 of them greatly improving quality of life - MsSnowWhite  299.9 #806 1:02AM

Ok please help me with this. My husband swears that the corn dogs at the corn dog castle are bigger and better than the corn dogs from the corn dog cart in disneyland. I think that they are the same. We have been having this argument for weeks now.
Nope they are better especially the hot link one's - HanLostLeia  1096.2 #134 11:24AM
They have hot link ones?? Omg I'm getting one next time! - RickChavez  3251.3 #29 11:29AM

Wow really Rick? - HanLostLeia  1096.2 #134 11:39AM
What is the difference between the regular and hot links? I didn't know they existed either. Are they both corn dogs? - Alicewhoareyou  1103.6 #133 11:40AM
They just taste way better AWAY, and yes they are both corn dogs. - HanLostLeia  1096.2 #134 11:42AM
They are spicy and delicious -- also a corn dog. - tdashgirl  319.4 #706 11:44AM
One is just a regular hot dog battered. The hot link one is a hot link battered. Its really good but it will be the last thing you eat. - vincentchase1  672.8 #247 11:49AM

I have never experienced disneyland with children. My sister in law, who has never been to disneyland, just called and asked my hubby and I to join her and her 4 children, two boys: 7 and 9, and two girls: 11 and 6, at disneyland this summer for 4 days. Any suggestions for me and my hubby. We have been to disney many times, but never with kids. And especially since this trip is probably going to b  More...
How exciting! Kids are sooooo fun at the park! But just be aware they go at a much different pace than adults. Also, their food and drink needs may be different than yours. Summer will be busy... so bring patience along with the kids. You'll need it. Also be prepared that you may not be able to visit many of the attractions you would like. I could not say for sure, but based on the ages of the children, you may have the 9 and 11 yr olds wanting to ride attractions that the 4 and 6 yr olds can't or don't want to ride. Try to make deals, like if the older ones spend a little time in Fantasyland, then the adults will be sure to take them to Adventureland for some more exciting things! One thing I always make sure of while with children at the park is to keep in mind it is mainly their time. They will do whatever the adults decide, so I make my decisions based on what would make the kids visit the most memorable and magical. Have an awesome time! - IMissDisney  1195.5 #114 4:00PM
We've been taking our girls since they were two and three months old respectively. I think the key to a great trip is breaks during the day. Ride several rides in the morning, and then relax for a bit with a snack or beverage, or just take it easy on a bench for a while. It may mean you won't do quite as much stuff, but you will have much happier kids (and parents)! Plus a slower pace gives you the chance to really soak in the atmosphere of the resort! - cmogo  74.4 #3759 4:29PM
My husband and I are in the same boat. We are going with his sister, bro-in-law and the 3 girls for the first time the wk of Feb 14. I know it will be a different experience. I am looking forward to going a different pace and maybe going on different rides than normal (and eating more junk!!) - JoshnSandy  50.2 #4342 6:04PM
We took my nephew when he was 7, and it was awesome! I really recommend playing "Eye Spy" and other fun games to keep them occupied in long lines. - anirina  166.4 #2320 10:27PM

I am so confused about what to do. Need some mwer advise. at my wedding my bridesmaids and I were going to wear black sparkly minnie mouse ears. My mom is flipping out telling me it will be tacky. What do you guys think, would it be takey or fun?
Tacky is fishnet stockings and hooker boots at a wedding, minnie mouse ears are cute. - madsdad  1800.8 #68 6:21PM
Not tacky. Super cute and unique actually. It's the brides day, whatever she wants go with it. It's not your moms day. Sorry mom. - MissAprilRose  4.0 #20524 6:08PM

Doesn't have to be professional, if it is a mwer that is good with a camera or a professional that anybody had experience with it would be helpful. Thanks:)
