Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me how busy DL will be May 20-24? I wanted to take the kids during spring break in April, but the hubs can't take the time off work.

Does DL stay open late with the fireworks still at this time? I'm hoping we can go in May, this way it'll be our 3rd year in a row that we've got to go to DL. I'm working my butt off to try to make this vacation happen. Thank you for your answers. :) - Minnieme79

Only 11 more days and my kids, brother, his gf, and I will be in DL! It's going to be my brothers gf's first time. We haven't been there since last June. I can't wait to see my kids faces light up when they find out we're going to DL. :) Hope Everyone has a wonderful, magical day today!

Good morning! I need help in figuring out where they have the best character breakfasts in DL. I was thinking Plaza Inn but I'd like your opinions. I'm surprising my kids and brother and his gf. Thank you in advance and have a magical day!
Plaza inn is the only one actually inside of Disneyland. I really enjoyed that one and highly recommend it!! I've also been to Storytellers and had great food but the characters were lacking (chip/dale, meeko, Brer fox). - JenInWonderland

I liked the LILO and stitch breakfast at paradise pier. Stich is very interactive and other characters stop by. They have games they do with the kids. I like to go to the store by winnie the pooh and splash mountain. However if you are in downtown Disney, you can check out Marcellene's (sp?). I've been told you don't have to pay resort tax there. It's been a while so I could be wrong about that. Hope this helps :) - dhBelle04

I need help rectifying something and ideas would be wonderful. My mother in law today in front of me told our son that his dad and mom were taking him to DL this summer. It was supposed to be a SURPRISE! I quickly shouted no we're not. I told my husband not to tell his mother until it was closer to when we were leaving to tell her. So now how do we throw him off?
