I have a quick question, I guess the next pin release date is 4/16 and that's our last day at DL. We are going to do the magic morning entry that day, will they let us in into the park or do we have to wait with the pin release group? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just trying to figure out if we should wake up earlier and try getting to the park early. Thank you for your help.

The last pin release (if you want the Diamond) had wristbands given out starting out at 7am near Rainforrest Cafe in the DTD parking lot. If you go directly into the park you CANNOT purchase the pin without a wristband. They handed out wristbands for inside the park there. Depending on how quickly you get a wristband depends on if you can use your Magic Morning. We were in the 5th row out of probably 15 and didn't get our wristband until almost 8:30. - DLKenCA  2029.1 #62 2:56PM
Lol DL crowd is enough for me. I'm not a pin collector, so I'm ok without getting those pretty pins. No point in trying to get the 4th one when I just recently found out there were 3 others before. I'm sure my kids will get some pins but they're young so just a regular pin will do. Thanks for letting me know about the bands.  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 4:16PM
I believe the pin releases are in Downtown Disney, based on the scary crowd photos I've seen posted here. So the entrance to the parks shouldn't be affected.  - DeadliestPassholder  209.0 #1795 2:56PM
Yes, if inside DL was going to have that kind of crowd that day I wouldn't go. Haha  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 4:17PM
Pin folks will be in downtown disney area. The park entrances won't be affected. - luxkitty  2341.4 #51 3:00PM
Thanks for letting me and best of luck to you collecting all the pins. I saw your cinderella pin set a while back and they're gorgeous! You have fabulous taste!  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 4:18PM

Another rak, please bear with me. This is my first time doing a rak. I have another rak up as well if you're interested. It's a sticker book, big hero 6 eraser, sharpener, memo pad, and pencils. Also a bag of pirates. Rak will end Saturday, March 21st. Good luck.

Very sweet of you. Please add me for my littlest. πŸ˜ƒ - Darlingwendi  1063.6 #149 11:16PM
Sorry picture is not very clear. Don't know why because it looked clear until I posted. But will add your little one. :) - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 11:17PM

Sorry, dumb question but when you write, "add me for rak for @______". Am I adding you or the person @_______? This is my first rak so I'm confused.  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 10:29PM
They are adding themselves for the rak but if they win the rak will go to the person they added, so example keep moving forward is adding themselves for darlingwendi  so if this entry wins when you do your drawing it would be congrats to  darlingwendi  entered by keepmovingforward lso the other way - pikarich  3633.1 #28 11:05PM

This is my first rak so please bear with me. I don't know how to flip the picture. Oops. But it's an Easter sticker book, study set with eraser, sharpener, memo pad, and 2 pencils. The last one is an Olaf memo pad and pen. I will draw the lucky winner coming this Saturday, March 21st. Good luck.

Quick question and I tried figuring out how to post to the hub but couldn't so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area in advance. I bought some stuff to rak today, how do I know if I can receive DM messages? And how do you do that computerized thing that picks the winner? Thank you for your answers on this. πŸ˜ƒ

hi- i see that you ARE able to Direct Message(DM) bc I just see the small 'DM' to the left of the clock in the top, right corner of this post. I just sent you a message. you can find that message if you go to 3 bars at the top left of this page, click, and go to Notifications. Very nice of you-hope this helps😊😊 - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  5016.9 #18 10:02PM
I got your DM. I don't know how that's possible since I'm at 13. Yay! Thank you for helping me!  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 10:46PM
I tried responding to your DM and got a warning stream socket, etc instead. 😳 - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 10:49PM
You can find a random generator app on your phones app store. - kimdis  38.5 #4912 8:37PM
Thank you for asking these questions it helps us newbies! - conant4  11.8 #8829 10:50PM
You're welcome, I have no idea half the time what I'm doing. And I'm horrible at reading directions and never ask me to read a map! I turn the map to the left and tell you to turn left and then before you know it we are lost. This was before gps, thank god for gps. I guess you never want to get lost with me in the woods. Haha - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 10:55PM
Also, I just google "random number generator" and there are several pages that offer them. You just plug in your numbers. I never thought to get an app.  - JenGwen323  1484.9 #94 10:54PM
Also. You can host a RAK anytime, but you need a way to exchange addresses privately. Publicly posting addresses isn't a good idea.  - JenGwen323  1484.9 #94 10:57PM

I'm so bummed. We will be at DL/DCA 4/13-416 and parks close at 10 and no fantasmic. In the past DL was open until midnight and had fantasmic. I'm so sad. 😞

Perspective. You're bummed about going to DL!?! Have a great trip.  - JenGwen323  1484.9 #94 11:04AM
I understand your feelings, but it will still be a great trip. And it will leave you wanting more...even more. πŸ˜„πŸ‘ - Sweet_Irish_Cream  4385.4 #22 2:06PM
Never be bummed at Disneyland.  Those words don't go together. Have a wonderful time. I always do, no matter how much time I'm there.  - Winnie111286  2986.8 #39 11:41AM
Just more bummed about fantasmic. I've only seen it once and was ruined by a lady that kept yelling at my friend bc she bumped into her and even apologized to the lady. Lady wouldn't drop it so I told her it was her fault for standing in a crowd with 4 drinks and overflowing popcorn, told her to go over there where there weren't any people. So finally had to tell her to go suck a toe. I'm horrible with comebacks, that's the best I court think of, go suck a toe. πŸ˜‚ - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 1:38PM

Quick question about strollers. I just saw someone leave a review for DL and they recommended you bring a stroller for kids 9 and under. How many parents on here have kids older than 3 riding in strollers? I think I'd be tired out pushing my 7 year old around. πŸ˜“

I think 9 is a bit old for a stroller. Just my opinion. - kimdis  38.5 #4912 3:59PM
We stopped using a stroller when our youngest got around 3.5-4.  He would walk the parks all day! - 1Princess3Princes  372.4 #556 6:50PM
We have a 6 and 4 year old, they usually only use a stroller when they're really tired (at the end of a trip). Sometimes they like to snack on popcorn while we're walking around so they'll hop in the stroller then. We'll probably keep the strollers until they're 7/8 for when they get tired, it's nice to have instead of carrying them from the tram to the car. - LBChica  2112.8 #59 6:19PM

In the past I've worn my Toms to DL but I've been getting older so I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good pair of shoes. P.S. No tennis shoes please, I don't like those. 😁

Go walk Sketches are super comfy and very light weight. They have memory foam insoles and it's the only way to go for my entire family. Ages 33-5 - TheBearandtheBow  64.1 #4063 6:30PM

Do the go walks run big and also do they stretch out after wearing them?  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 10:04PM

I cannot wear those without cracking up, because of the memory they hold. When my sister was 9 months pregnant her feet swelled so badly. Haha, he ain't seen cray-cray until he's seen one of my WDW itineraries.  I love to tell this story... a fellow Disney loving friend of mine shows her hubs my schedule a few trips ago, and he says, "This must be her first time - no way she can get all that done in one trip!"  Without missing a beat, she said, "You wanna bet?!" πŸ˜‚ - mrsincredible  969.6 #4 6:25PM
Were you able to get it done? And how long were you there for?  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 6:38PM
Yes!  Super blessed to have been to WDW 8 times in the last 3 years, and rarely miss something on the list!  I'm pretty hard core, too; its lots of early mornings and late nights for us (we can sleep when we get home, ha!). We may have barking dogs and aching backs when it's all said and done, but we've had some pretty amazing experiences over the years, and a lifetime of memories!  I just don't think it would have all been possible without the schedule and all the planning.  It's not for everyone, but I'd never take a trip without one! πŸ‘Š - mrsincredible  969.6 #4 6:52PM
Our trips lengths vary, we've gone anywhere from 4-9 days at a time. - mrsincredible  969.6 #4 6:53PM
8 times! I'm so jealous! It's been over 20 years since I've gone to DW. I almost don't know if I'll like it as much as DL. I already get overwhelmed when I tried planning it. 😰 - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 7:03PM

Hi Everyone, can you please let me know where I can go to get 4/13 to 4/16 disney show/parade schedule? I've looked but can't seem to find it. I'd like to make some reservations for dinner, but don't want to make the reservations without looking at the schedule first. TIA!

On Disney Go site I just see schedules into March so far. - ShariRenee  5662.6 #15 12:03PM
Hi Shari, I did see that but they didn't have the show schedules for March yet. I was hoping maybe there was another site that would have it earlier. Do you think if I make dinner reservations for 8:30 at night I'd be ok and not miss a show? We will be in disneyland Monday and Thursday and DCA Tuesday.  - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 12:10PM
The show schedules are available for the days you are going. On March 13 it says Fantasmic at 9 and 10:45, soundsational parade at 4 and 6:30, fireworks at 9:25, mickey magical map at 12:15, 1:20, 2:30, 4:35 and 5:45 pm  - missmimi90  1718.4 #81 12:24PM
@@Minnieme79 It depends on what shows your hoping to see. The Fantasmic show times right now are a good indicator of what they are likely to be in April. If your thinking of parades, stage shows, night time shows etc. Disney is pretty good about having multiple show times with the exception of Fantasmic due to the closing time of the parks. I believe the Disney official web site doesn't post the schedule more than 30-45 days in advance. Hope this helps. - Donaldfan_532  235.5 #1434 12:25PM

Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me how busy DL will be May 20-24? I wanted to take the kids during spring break in April, but the hubs can't take the time off work.

From past years, its a good time to go because some schools are starting to end that time of year and the weather is good. And you'll beat the Memorial Day crowds - BaseballMickey_CM  6791.3 #9 4:49PM
Usually pretty good time to go. - TheDisneylandman  264.3 #1135 4:50PM
Does DL stay open late with the fireworks still at this time? I'm hoping we can go in May, this way it'll be our 3rd year in a row that we've got to go to DL. I'm working my butt off to try to make this vacation happen. Thank you for your answers. :) - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 5:03PM
And my husbands birthday is the 22nd so I think it would be pretty cool to celebrate his 33rd bday there. - Minnieme79  18.3 #6932 5:04PM

Will it be busy in DL next week or will the crowds be a little less crowded? I went onto isitpacked/Disneyland and it was saying "hey, it's alright"
