Hi! Thought I'd introduce myself...my name is Crystal and I'm from Bakersfield. I'm a mommy to a 6 year old little girl who feels CM's are the luckiest people ever since they get to go to DL all the time. I've had MW for some time now but usually lurk instead of post due to being shy. I do want to thank everyone who posted planking pictures yesterday...I had a bad day and the pictures made me More...
So we went to the Aladdin show and to family next to us took off their shoes and made themselves at home. We then went over to Playhouse Junior and a completely different family took off their shoes. Been to these shows many times before and this is a first. Am I the only one who has experienced this?! BTW-I have to say we had a very smelly experience!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
