Random Trader Sam's question... I got a light-up ice cube in my drink, was I suppose to keep it?? I did because the service was terrible and sometimes I'm a bad person, but, ya know... For next time? :-)
☀☀Good morning MW friends! I could use some of your prayers and pixie dust this morning! Last night was my last day at my job, and this morning I'm starting a new one! I'm a little nervous, my last job I wasn't a huge fan of, but the people were my family! It's always scary to jump into something new! Hope you all have a great day!
My new wallet came in the mail today - totally stoked! If anyone is thinking of ordering it, do it! It's good quality and very lovely! My only complaint is that I have a lot of cards (I'm a chick, it kind of comes with the territory! 😝) and it's a little too stiff yet to close with them all inside! Hopefully it will give a little with time. :-)
Got this off of Twitter from Stephanie J. Block. She's a Broadway actress who apparently played Belle at some point in Disneyland. It made me 😂 so I thought i'd share: "Just remembering when I played Belle at Disneyland years and years ago... I'd be so tan during the summer, they called me Taco Belle."
Well, MW family, the time has come. For the last 5 days I've been home sick in bed with a brutal sinus infection, and while the infection rages on, it's back to work anyway! But I wanted to say ✨✨Thank You✨✨ to everyone here who kept me entertained when the outside world seemed so far away! Grand prize must go to the guy who reported the poop-n-run in NOS. That was quite a load you gave us More...
To all fellow MWers who don't live anywhere near the parks: does being on MouseWait make the wait until your next trip a little more bearable? Or does seeing all the pics and hearing all the stories make the wait more difficult for you? I can't decide which it is for me, so I figured I'd ask the masses. :-)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
