Add me please! The scariest movie I've seen has got to be The Conjuring 2. Β It has plenty of good jump scare scenes and it was just way too creepy. Also, it was based on a true story, so that made it even more scarier. Even during the end credits, they played the original recording of the possessed girl from the interview that happened during the movie.

Surprise? Yes please. Please add me. I hate horrors because I am a πŸ”. So I got tricked into watching Event Horizon, is that the name of it? Had to sleep with the lights on for 2 weeks... Thank you. - sultan  54.0 #4858 4:01PM

Scary movies usually don't scare me. Event horizon did. It's been a really long time so I don't really remember much besides it Freaking me out.  - phillip...  1400.6 #140 5:10PM
Saw that when it came out. I was hoping that be scared. Didn't happen. - Lelundrial  836.6 #246 9:12PM
Add me please. Toss up between Alien and The Exorcist. Alien was ground breaking effects, great story, and creature. The Exorcist because I don't think there was anyone this movie didn't scare. Thank you for the surprise RAK! - jacdanfan  13872.8 #5 4:15PM
ADDED! Both are FANTASTIC choicesπŸ˜€ - SKELLIGIRL  105.5 #3648 4:17PM
Add me please! The scariest movie I saw was called Tourist Trap. It's about a group of kids who get lost on a back road and come across this little store. The store also has a wax museum and as it turns out the wax people are real people the owner has covered in wax!  Scariest part is one girl running away from the owner and she hops over a fence and as she's running she trips (of course) and the scary guy is at the top of the fence and he throws this little head at her. It lands in front of her and slowly turns to face her and then says her name. "Molly!!"  Such a classic B film.  - chuswo  420.9 #575 2:09PM

Today was fun, I went to DCA with family from Maui.  For Halloween, we decorate our house with 100+ pumpkins, we carve pumpkins the weekend of Halloween, and we like to watch scary movies.

We decorate. We Β play our Haunted Mansion cd loud on outdoor speakers to try and get kids to come to the house. David and Rain dress up as HatBox and attic bride and we hand out candy. Β I'm gonna try and get my oldest to sketch out the hitchhiking ghosts on some wood. I'll have David cut them out, and stand them up in the yard. But since she draws for a living she isn't always happy to do it for me for free lol. - OhanaPhoto  6607.2 #20 10:26PM
We used to always have the plywood cut outs for Christmas. Now I buy the air blown onesπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚it must   be fun to dress up to scare the neighborhood kidsπŸ˜³πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 10:42PM
We only scare the bigger kids hahaha. Bigger kids are way more fun to scare. They run, scream my daughter in particular loves scaring them. If we notice the little ones are skittish, we tone down the scary :)Β  - OhanaPhoto  6607.2 #20 7:51AM
Hi!  Hope you had a good day. Decent one here, and last week's challenges had happy endings. I never get many trick or treaters in the neighborhood, so I stopped doing that. I'll often be out and about, go to Disneyland or work late or see a movie. Am I a Halloween version of Scrooge? 😞 - redsoxcarlos  4274.1 #38 9:21PM
No you are no Scrooge! Some ppl just don't care that much for Halloween unless they have kids. It's my honey's favorite holiday and he LOVES visiting Disney during this time and going to MHP. Do you ever go to MHP? - SKELLIGIRL  105.5 #3648 9:25PM
I did once with a friend, back on the DCA side. No fireworks or parade, and not really into gathering candy. Sounds more fun now, so I might try it again in a group, but probably not solo.  - redsoxcarlos  4274.1 #38 9:37PM
Hehe! I thought my post was deleted because I couldn't find it and it does it every now and then when I click on of late. So I refreshed and there it is!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚!! On !  - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 9:38PM
There are so many tickets available for that night on eBay so I'm thinking of going that night.   I always get a lot of candy on Halloween night. And I really get into seeing how much candy I can collect. Then I can give  most of it to the VA so it's fun and I still don't have to eat it allπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 9:39PM
Fui primero???  Hay que bueno! !! πŸ˜€  That's a great idea to take the candy to the VA!   - redsoxcarlos  4274.1 #38 10:01PM
Agreed 100%. We don't get trick or treaters anymore in our neighborhood. Good thing cause I wouldn't answer the door anymore.  - Bobbierocha  195.5 #2147 10:36PM
Aloha. Today has been another busy day making ears and taking care of my sick kiddo. Since my birthday is the day before Halloween, we always make it into a big deal. The house gets decorated, we carve pumpkins, have a big Halloween cake, and go trick or treating as well. Halloween time is really one of my favorite times of the year. - DarthTinkerbell  1320.9 #146 11:52PM
Sorry I missed this last night. I was busy doing work on my phone after I jogged and I fell asleep in my car😜 do they tend to give you birthday presents related to Halloween? How fun that you decorate and have a big cake. My favorite is carving pumpkins. - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 1:58PM

Hopefully they fix it right this time. And hopefully because the city saw that they messed it up the city will keep an ion it and make sure they did it right. Today was fun yet tiring.  I had family from Hawaii visiting and we spent the day at the parks.  They went last night too and we're going tomorrow as well.  What I love about being home is that I'm with family and other loved ones.  There's no other place in the world that can replace the feeling of comfort, support, and the love I get when I'm at home.

Family and a sense of belonging! - clawton  350.0 #729 9:58PM
And a little anecdote to elaborate... Sometimes when I've been away from home for more than a few days and if I feel a bit lonely at night in bed, I just look at my watch and pretend that I'm just checking the time in my own home. Weird, but it seems to make a little of the loneliness go away...☺ - clawton  350.0 #729 10:03PM
Agreed. The warm and comfy feeling of home makes all seem right in the world.  - DarthTinkerbell  1320.9 #146 10:33PM
After years of deployments and rentals and owning and selling and traveling and RV life and hotel stays and couch-hopping, I can honestly say that Home is together with my menfolk. A tent is a castle with them, a mansion's just a box without them.  - SassafrasDavis  673.0 #332 10:14PM
Yes, so much this. My family has also moved around quite a bit, and I find that it's the feelings of home that are so special, as opposed to the physical structure. As long as we are surrounded by our loved ones, all is well. - DarthTinkerbell  1320.9 #146 10:42PM

A good question!  I grew up in the same house my parents finished building the week before they brought me home from the hospital.  They still live there, and it's beautiful; I love the property and my hometown.  However, in my adult life, I've moved around so much (3 times in the first 15 months of marriage alone!), so I've basically lived both extremes.  Home now is the atmosphere much more than the physical space...and funny things trigger the feeling of home: the smell of cozy coffee, the smell of a fire, the Mikasa dish set I bought when I first moved out of my parents (we still use them), the blankies that my husband's grandmother knit us, watching Friends, reading Harry Potter, the books on my bookshelf, sitting on the couch we've had for ten years with our matter where we are at physically, those things are the constants in our lives.  And funny thing is, some people, when they move, want new furniture and new things to fill the house with and start fresh, but for me, I've found that I don't want that: I want what's familiar.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  669.2 #335 9:25PM

Good morning. First I have never been to dl πŸ˜ͺ hope to one day. I never made it to DW as a child, we were a very low income family so never did vacations, never stayed in hotels. When I got married it was pretty much the same way as when I was a child. I had an uncle who went to DW with his family every few years and in 1992 he said his girls were going to compete at DW for dance and did we want to go? He would make the plans and we would pay him $ to be our banker from then till when we go in June of 1993. I was 36 and my kids were 13, 15, 17. We did 3 parks ( animal kingdom was not there yet) but we did discovery island which is not there now. We did river country water park but it is no longer there. And we did downtown Disney and pleasure island and their fireworks which is not there now. We stayed off property, which since that year have never stayed off property again. It was an amazing time, we were all in awe of everything. Every time I go I have moments of those memories and am very thankful for my uncle.  - mmddgp  1472.7 #4 5:39AM

It was a busy weekend for me because I'm trying to learn visual effects for my videos.  I did complete one today (finally) but that took forever.  As for sports, I do watch a lot of soccer.  Not much American soccer because the talent isn't so great, so I watch my favorite team Liverpool play from the English Premier League.  I'm a pretty big fan and I do wake up as early as 5   More...

And if you decide to join there's no speed requrement on Β walking, Β  you can go slow as you want or as fast as you's another fun thing to do with fellow mouse waiters so I hope you'll join. Finally stopped raining in time for our band to perform their field show. Boy some of the other bands git soaked!!! We don't hear the results for a while yet and then a two hour bus ride home. I sure do miss marching band! - clawton  350.0 #729 9:51PM
i was on the drill team dance squad in hs.  i never was so cold in my life as the feb competition we went to..... in new england!  good luck with the competition! - MsTikiMermadam  1583.2 #122 9:53PM
Glad the weather cleared for your performance. Sounds like a busy day - Goofytom  3152.6 #49 9:59PM
Coldest I ever marched was about 28 degrees. Can't imagine colder! - clawton  350.0 #729 10:08PM
I miss marching band so much!  I did it all through high school and college (and we marched in a parade each year in junior high). Competing in high school were some of the best times with great friends!  And cold was routine. During football games we often would only play in the stands during the first half, play at halftime, and then pack up the instruments so they wouldn't freeze!  - IDVandalSkipperCM  2642.8 #59 10:36PM
IDVandalSkipperCM Well, if it's that time in your life where you have kids, make sure they play music and volunteer for everything thing! Not quite the same experience as actually being in the band but still pretty fun! - clawton  350.0 #729 11:22PM
:-). It rained all day yesterday and there was also a power cut in our village all afternoon.  We went to the cinema in the morning to see Trolls, went out for lunch and then played Disney Monopoly and Cluedo until the power came pack on.  Great fun.  Hoping the weather improved as my children are off school again this week.  Wish we had a Disney park close enough to visit.  A few of our neighbour's have gone to Paris and Orlando, so I'm enjoying seeing their photos on Facebook.  Thank you for hosting:-) - beentoall  1334.9 #0 12:44AM
Oh rain. Been so long since we've seen it in So Cal almost forget what it looks like. DL Paris, how long of a trip is that for you? - Goofytom  3152.6 #49 3:55AM
DL Paris is a 2hr flight and then a short train journey.  Spend more time at immigration!  The lines are always so long:-( - beentoall  1334.9 #0 2:37PM

Sadly I don't think the photos on the right are real πŸ˜”, but I'm excited to see the movie as well.  At the D23 expo last year during one of the presentations, they showed about a second of footage showing Belle in her yellow dress walking down the stairs.

I'd be profoundly disappointed if Emma Watson wasn't Hermioneish in real life.  Seems so appropriate that she was cast as Belle πŸ“–πŸ“œπŸ“š - Spoonful_O_Sugar  669.2 #335 10:43PM

Today was well, I'm learning how to create special effects for my videos.  Afterwards I went to the parks for a short while with my friend to see the Moana preview which was really good.

Howdy howdy! Sorry you're feeling under the weather. My cold came back so I think it's one of those hanger on kind that is going to be here for a few months so I'm trying to just ignore it. I thought the rain was coming Saturday at least down here. I have to go cover a couple things then I'm in the middle of moving.and I am in the middle of moving a bunch of stuff to storage so I really hope it doesn't rain hard. Though we need the rain. OK , I order the rain to be only at nightπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 9:29PM
You are a busy lady! I'm not sure of the forecast down there, but I think north of me is to get some substantial rain tonight tomorrow, and the greater Bay Area should see some rain tomorrow. But yes! Time to cover that lawn furniture! - TinkerSchelle  2101.4 #84 9:45PM

I like to travel, I usually go to Maui every year.  I'd like to visit other countries such as Italy and New Zealand.

Bonjour, first day back after being off. The only bad thing the happened, was going to work. I love to travel. I prefer long trips. I would like to see some of Europe. I would also like to go back to Alaska. - Lelundrial  836.6 #246 9:26PM
We are planning an Alaskan cruise in 2018 or 2019. Never been. I was stationed in Germany. It was great. I was traveling every chance I had.  - Sugarbuzz  304.8 #960 9:46PM
I bet you would have a great time in Europe. Alaska sounds fun and I've heard the Alaskan cruises are  really wonderful.are used to travel I guess I've become more used to home lately. Hope tomorrow that works a bit better☺️ - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 9:54PM
Hi! Great day! Met up with @LuvsTigger, her mini, her boyfriend and @WhatTiggersDoBest. Nice lil mall visitπŸ™‚ here in NorCal.  We love traveling. Husby and I used to go to Europe once a year, different countries, before the churros were born. Saw some incredible sights and ate fabulous food. Portugal has some great eatsπŸ‘πŸΌ Now, the farthest we've taken the churros is Maui😍 Such a different kind of vacation- sooo relaxing. I'm good with relaxing πŸ˜‚ - misschurro  7993.1 #14 9:45PM
How fun to go to Europe a few times. I have a lot of  Portuguese friends from school, their food is very spicy and their parties are very fun. Your trip to Maui looked very nice. And that's great you got to have a mall meet up with some nice people. πŸ˜„ - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 10:04PM

For our little getaways Disneyland hits the spot. Road trips are always a crazy adventure. We rent a van take as many friends we can fit and just drive.  We live off milk, oreos and sleeping in parking lots. Lol. When we have a little more money, Hawaii is our go to place.  My bucket list destinations are Bora Bora for obvious reasons, Scotland to see where me and my husband's ancesters are from, Italy because it looks so old and beautiful there, and I would love to go on an African Safari.   - OhanaPhoto  6607.2 #20 11:33PM
i used to love to travel, Β back when i had my mother nearby to swap cat sitting. Β 2-4 weeks was ideal. Β now, Β i just do 1-3 nites away, Β to avoid kennels. It was a good day for me.  Disneyland's IG featured my photo and asked permission to feature another one in the future.  As for stickers, I usually get the premium ones and stickers that I find interesting to collect.

@@secretagentangel ! These are my stix from tonight I love the little man of Disneyland the best. I also think it was awesome to have a tribute to @HARR_E  as he got this recent good report! Thanks @Admin for a great sticker night! And thanks to you @@secretagentangel for hosting up late even though you are so busy. I think I speak for a lot of Mousewaiters when I say We appreciate you so much! Thank you, also to @misschurro for hosting the sticker night party. I've gotten some credits by entering wait times, from awesome and very generous mousewaiters RAKs, and from a recent stay at HOJO.  - DisneyDiane316  993.1 #210 9:35PM

Awww! Thanks! That really helps cheer me up. I was getting a little bit anxious the last two days. But I know God is helping me. I just now to shouldn't stay up late trying to get work done because then you can't get work done the rest of the morning . And Churro does a great job on sticker night and so does DarthTinkerbell! She's normally on Tuesdays but she's on vacation. And the other hosts including newbies have been helping me fill in the schedule so it's been working real nice. It's actually a blessing doing up late. You get to meet a lot of new people , so sometimes the first time they ever talk is on one of these posts and you get to show people see how we are a community. And I really get to know people every couple nights on here. So it's nice. And thank you again.😍😘 - secretagentangel  8828.6 #11 9:56PM

Liked them all. We usually have dinner between 7:30 and 8:30pm. Then sit in our favorite spots and wait patiently for the fun to begin. - jacdanfan  13872.8 #5 7:12AM
My that is a lot of questions. Tuesday was my last day of leave. I bought some creds in the beginning, but stopped. I haven't liked the stickers much lately. The ones at the beginning are better than the most recent releases. I skipped last nights look because I was busy playing with my force band. - Lelundrial  836.6 #246 8:01AM
