Wow, apparently if you post something innocently and other MW'rs start commenting on YOUR post and everyone starts disagreeing with each get YOUR post deleted without warning. I appreciated everyone on their differing opinions and I've learned my lesson on this site. I will continue to take my beautiful girls to DL and not get involved in such non-sense. And to be CLEAR, this is NOT   More...

I think this is something that should be taken up with Admin and not posted here to create more of an issue. But hey, what do I know? - LuvsTigger  1675.4 #105 1:35PM
I am sorry that you may not return to mw. It really is a wonderful and informative app. - aidensmama  340.3 #728 1:38PM

My celebrity sighting today...Halle Berry.

Tagged in: Celebrities
Keep the photo up and don't crop the child. There's no reason why you should. In that case anyone who posts a picture with a child walking by should crop the child out too. The fact that she's the child of a celebrity makes her no different from my child or any other child. Just my opinion. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 12:52AM
Except pics of kids walking by aren't generally intentional. They are usually the result of another picture being taken and a mini just happened to be in it.....this isn't the case here. - DisneyDavidEMT  2764.1 #52 1:01AM
That is true but it is frowned on to post a pic of any child (famous or not) without permission from the family. I understand your point with people walking by though. - aidensmama  340.3 #728 1:01AM
I don't believe she intended for the child to be in it. She was only trying to prove her celebrity sighting with a picture of the celebrity and her child just so happened to be in it. So this is the same case here. With that said I respectfully disagree with your opinion. I have a child who I have to attend to early in the morning so goodnight and have a nice rest of your evening. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 1:38AM
@ PrincessV....thus the request to crop out the mini....not rocket science. - DisneyDavidEMT  2764.1 #52 1:44AM
I wonder if you'll be asking every mouse waiter whose ever posted a picture of a celebrity to crop out their child as well. If so I suggest you go to search celebrities and you'll be up all night with something to do. - EddyTheVillain  267.7 #1230 1:54AM
Wow. - aidensmama  340.3 #728 1:56AM
Well said PrincessV - TheBeast  17.5 #8134 2:09AM
Mouse waiters post TOT, RSR and Splash Moutain pictures all the time with other people's children in them. I'm sure they didn't all ask the children's parents for permission to post their picture on the lounge. Why are those not frowned upon? So because this child's parent is a celebrity it is wrong? That's just nonsense. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 5:55AM
Are you saying all those mouse waiters are disrespectful for not asking those children's parents for permission before posting their picture? - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 6:00AM
Hey, we all have the rights to our opinions.... I personally feel that any child should have the parents permission before posting pictures of them on any forum. Sure, there may be thousands of pics of these kids already, but don't they deserve privacy despite the fact their parents are celebs? I doubt Halle's daughter has signed up herself for acting classes. Can't we let little kids grow up and be kids without shoving cameras in their faces? Just makes me wonder how many of us would like it if we saw kids of our pics on the Internet taken from every angle, while eating, having their diaper changed, picking their nose, etc. If OUR child were splashed all over the Internet without our permission, would we still feel that people were entitled to do this? We have paparazzi show up at accident scenes and take pictures of celebs and their families, it isn't cool! - DisneyDavidEMT  2764.1 #52 7:07AM
Yes we do have the rights to our own opinions and once again like I said to you before...I respectfully disagree with your opinion. For now we can just agree to disagree. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 7:40AM
Ok I get it. I understand what is said about celebrity privacy and their children. I was excited at seeing her and I posted the picture, as I have seen so many others do on this forum. On 12/12 Gwen Stefani and her child, 12/5 Kate Hudson and hers, 12/1 Benjamin Bratt and his, 11/18 Sandra Oh and hers, 11/4 Busy Phillips and hers...not one comment was made on ANY of these pictures and most of them were full face shots including the children and not taken with permission. Just out of curiosity why is my photo so different? I'm not upset or bitter as one MW said, I get all points. I am just interested to know why this particular pic got the "crop the child out" when all the others got praises for "great shot". Thanks. - LSAzcarraga  5.7 #17264 9:09AM
I'm not sure why you're so "special" either. I seem to remember Tom Cruise and Suiri getting a lot of attention as "a dad spending a magical day with his daughter" - GoofyMom77  968.2 #198 9:13AM
I agree. Other mouse waiters have posted pictures of celebrities with there children in the lounge and none of them were asked to crop the child out. I truly hope it wasn't because you are a new mouse waiter with a low mouse rank. If it was that would be very disappointing. That is not how the lounge works. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 9:25AM
It does happen, someone took a pic of Christian Bale on Space Mountain with his kid. I believe, even admin asked them to repost and crop the little one out. - Waites4DodgerEars_CM  1002.5 #195 10:04AM
Thank you for saying that MSGBTMBF. (Phew that's a long acronym) I kinda wish admin would hide ranks so people would stop using that excuse. - Waites4DodgerEars_CM  1002.5 #195 11:59AM
@MrsStrawberry...No worries. I understand where you're coming from. - LittleStarSweeper  353.7 #684 12:53PM
STOP!! This is so yesterday! ;) By the way geat pic! - LizO  471.1 #475 12:50PM
THANK YOU! and thank you. :) - LSAzcarraga  5.7 #17264 12:55PM
I think to clear this misunderstanding.. Let's all have an early spring cleaning and delete any picture you've posted with any children in it that you never got permission to post. πŸ˜°πŸ˜‚πŸ˜± No more confusion in the lounge. That's one solution. - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}  1143.9 #167 12:53PM
