It was a cool idea in concept, but in real life it was terrible. Not adding banked turns ruined the entire experience due to having to slow way down to make a turn. That and the fact it was always breaking down sealed it's fate. I also despised the fact they took out 2 attractions to set it up. - shadowgamer 1954.3 #37 7:41AM

In addition to this info...I've read that they looked into re-doing it in some form by putting more money into it...but would have to add ladders for emergency exits to get down off the platforms and Disney thought that would clutter up and ruin the look of Tomorrowland.
