Well my magic SlimQuick gummies didn't help me lose 3 x's the weight this week. Only down 1.2 lbs. I SO wanted to lose at least 2 so I'd be at 20 lbs total for the year...oh well...next week! (at least the gummies taste good!)
Down 4 lbs this week...that's 12.6 for the month so far! So funny - I lose 12 lbs and think "now I can wear this, and this", but of course I can't...I still have 30 to go! Nonetheless, it feels great to be on my way...
I messed up this week and gained 2oz. Might not seem like a lot, but I'm supposed to lose! Looking back tho, I've been mixing up my diets. Like I ate dry roasted p'nuts which were an ok protein on Yoli...but I'm not on Yoli! Talked to the Jenny consultant and I'm back on track. Bought Jicama, cauliflower and celery for snacks...AND got back on my elliptical for the first time in More...
WEEKEND WEIGH-IN! (vs. Wednesday)?!? Down 3.6 lbs today. Total of 8.8 since the 1st (of course that first week is always the best!). Starting to hit my stride, diet-wise, but know that I'm going to have to start the dreaded exercise soon! How's everyone else's new year going?
Remember me hoping that this year would be good (January, 2013 was when my "legal" mess started)...well, today I had to fire not one but two employees (one for policy violation, one for a sexual harassment issue). Then my other employees gave me grief about everything from not liking the schedule to having to attend staff meetings!!!! I hate this!!! It was supposed to be better! More...
Happy Thanksgiving! I was going to wait until the new year to start back on a diet, but then I was walking the dog and thinking of how much I'll prolly gain in December with that attitude! So...I'll use up my month of Yoli in December and then I think it's back to JC in January! Happy eating to us all today!
Happy (almost) Thanksgiving everyone! I think I've pretty much tossed in the towel for this year. I'm still having issues at work (when will it just be a "job"), and I'm continually stressed and sad over my mom's situation. New Year, New Attitude (hopefully) New Jan in 2014!
Groundbreaking for the Temple of the Forbidden Eye occurred in August 1993. More than 400 Imagineers worked on its design and construction. Tony Baxter led a core project team of nearly 100 Imagineers.
Several early concepts were considered for Indy including a walk-through adventure and a high-speed mine car adventure within a temple. To avoid a long queue, Imagineers even considered using Jungle Cruise launches to shuttle guests to the loading area. The team tested key show elements in a Burbank warehouse on a full-sized elevated track that resembled a freeway. This enabled the team to test set pieces, lighting, effects, transport clearances and motion profiles.
To create space for the 0.5-mile queue area and the 50,000-square-foot show building, an area of the former "Eeyore" parking lot was demolished, and the Monorail and Jungle Cruise attractions were rerouted. As I'm sure some of you know, an old Eeyore parking sign is hidden up in the rafters high above the projection room (in the queue). The sign pays homage to the Eeyore Parking Lot.

Happy 19th birthday Indy!
Have you been on this attraction? If so, what is your favorite part or scene?
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a magnificent Monday!
