So...the good news is that nothing is broken. It's all bruising and soft tissue injury. He said its similar to the sprain that happens when you twist and roll your ankle...except its my toe. They buddy taped it and gave me a boot to wear. He said no running at all for at least a week and then I can MAYBE start back at about 10% of what I usually do and work up from there. So, no Rock & Roll :( But it should heal with no lasting damage. It sure does hurt...lol - vernswifevickie

Thank you!! Plumie, he said to try and rest it and do nothing much at all for a week. Then he suggested biking or the eliptical to keep up my cardio while I ease back into running. Glad to hear its not broken, but I'm sorry about the Rock and Roll Half. There's always next time :) Have you ever thought of swimming? My husband swam and coached competitive (US Masters) swimming for years, and it's an excellent complement to running because it's such great cardio but non-impact. Just an idea!
