Got into the park around 5 with no problems. No line at all for parking, tram was light, and security was easy too. DL was packed, but DCA did not seem bad at all. Kudos to Disney for having lots of bands and 3 WoC shows.
Thanks for the shot...We're missing the processional terribly, and have missed the last 3:-2011: Rain-2012: Had tix for actual seats, but the company I worked for made me work that night, wouldn't let me swich. Then laid me off 3 weeks later.-2013: Couldn't make it to the parkScore: Grinch 3, DizKahuna 1
As you found out, restarting the phone helps. I'm convinced IOS7 is buggy, and it has to do with wifi. It keeps trying to connect to a wifi connection, and gets stuck in a loop. I also very long pauses while the phone checks for something that's not there.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
