I grew up in La Mirada and it was awesome. Low crime rate, small town feel, super clean, great schools, and 10 min from the parks

If you judge a place based on the area code, you could miss out on a lot. I didn't particularly want to move to the town I'm in now, but I work 3 part time jobs and this is centrally located for me. I'm very happy--live in a country club with a pool and full gym one block away, affordable rent, lots of happy families and friends.
