Miceage.com is reporting that the new World of Color show in DCA will use a "showpass" system of allowing people to reserve space in the amphitheater. That's a great idea IMO. Not having to camp out means more attractions, and it looks better aesthetically.

I don't think strollers themselves are the problem so much as the SIZE of them. I have video of Disneyland when I was kid in the late 80's, and strollers used to be just a tiny chair that folded up no bigger than a large umbrella. @JJ: Most of the crowds are out of towners here for the Rose Bowl/Rose Parade. After this weekend, things should calm down. January is historically the off season. Unfortunately, a lot of attractions close in January too.
@Jann: Rope drop happens everyday.
@5ryans: Rope drop is what happens when the park first opens. At the end of Main Street, security guards hold ropes to keep people from
entering the park, soon as it's open, they "drop" it.
