Next time you at the store across from Ariel's grotto they have a book of the origin's of Duffy. While it's less substantial than the origins of wolverine, it's still explains much. My daughter has the book cuz she has so many duffy's and outfits and loves them all lol. - madsdad 1269.1 #65 1:47PM

About 8 years ago or so marvel did this mini series for his legitimate origins, basically he always had claws, so when magneto stripped him of his adamantium was when he found that part out, so it goes along with the part of the series you have.
