I found this in our Disneyland backpack while cleaning it out today and wondered if there's a map collectors out there Who could not make it to the annual pass holder holiday party, would they want this? If so are there any tips or pointers how I can RAK it out...
So nice of you - RadiatorSprings4Ever  863.7 #181 11:26PM
You can do a RAK however you want. One option would be just to post it in the lounge but one of the rules be that you are a map collector and maybe have them list what maps they have. Or just have people contact you and choose someone. It's entirely up to you and you can RAK it anyway you want. - warchanted  135.4 #2807 9:52PM
Good deal... thank you so much for the information - disneydork  279.2 #944 1:47PM

Ok friends and family... If you were at the AP event tonight and you went to see Famtasmic, you found your apart of a beta test that seemed way out of space. What were you thoughts of this new seating .
I don't understand all the complaining at these events. I've seen people yell at others to hurry up with their pictures, pushing small children out if the way, and generally making these poor cast members lives miserable for things they have no control over. These are free special events to show Disney's appreciation for us. I guess it's just the new generation's sense of entitlement but I will be standing back saying "I told you so" when they decide to just do less AP events or just stop altogether due to the backlash and complains. And as far as the FP system, they said they are working the bugs out through trial and error. And let's try to remember that Disney does not cater to just AP holders. We are but a small percent of their guests. Maybe we can try to share the magic. Let's not ruin it for the people who just want to keep loving Disney. M'kay? - SpiritOfAdventure  1024.1 #151 6:39PM
πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ - DisneyOnesie  568.0 #310 6:45PM
Its just like anything they change, it is very hard for people to accept change.  but also, people are more pushy and not so considerate on being kind to others or CM's because they all forget they are not the only one wanting whatever it is.  they are changing the DAS tomorrow, and I have been part of the pilot being linked to AP and it is a good thing, however it will take some getting used to, and people won't be able to take advantage of it by getting too many passes.  and everyone will have to get a wait time pass no matter the disability (this is my understanding of it) but it should be fair for everyone anyway.  I wonder if they bring in all the changes before Christmas to practice on the crowds while everyone is hopefully in a good mood!! - secretagentangel  1262.6 #105 6:50PM
M'kayyy well said buddy !  - mickeyat78  1492.9 #89 6:51PM
I agree 1000%! - DisneyPrincessT  53.1 #4275 6:51PM
A- freaking- men!  - missmimi90  1456.9 #92 6:56PM
Agree. The AP appreciation events are such a privilege and we are lucky to be chosen to be the guinea pigs for new things!  - hleclair  35.3 #4960 6:58PM
Sadly, some APers are too comfortable--there's very little shame. They know the ins and outs of how the park runs, and exploit loopholes that tourists aren't aware of, or walk around with a holier than thou attitude because DL is their playground, and they think that somehow makes them better than others--many times they are diminishing the experience for someone else (butterfly effect). Β It's clear that Disney needs the AP options, but even if it's only a small portion of the total amount of AP holders, it starts to overtake the culture of the park. Β  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  544.4 #323 6:59PM
Spoonful_O_Sugar I completely agree! I will admit that I use some of  the loopholes I know about; but when Disney finds out about them and fixes them, I don't get mad. I figure it was nice while it lasted. But like I said, it's this false sense of entitlement that some AP holders have. They don't realize there are people who live far and can't go as often as we do and would kill for the opportunity to go to these events. Probably why they got rid of the So Cal select. Because I don't see how making more money is a bad thing. Just weeding out some of the bad locals. It sucks that some of the true Disney lovers will suffer but it is what it is.  - SpiritOfAdventure  1024.1 #151 7:13PM
SpiritOfAdventure I agree with all that, sadly it's probably a small percentage of ap that act like that, but that attitude has an big impact  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  544.4 #323 7:33PM
I totally agree, I've only been to 1 of these in 4 years and wish I could have been there.  I think everyone just needs to be patient and wait for the kinks to work out.  If you are expecting perfection, please don't try the new system until a few months have gone by. - Sarafina  440.5 #428 8:56AM
This reminds me of the time The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead When the skies of November turn gloomy With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more Than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed When the gales of November came early The ship was the pride of the American side Coming back from some mill in Wisconsin As the big freighters go, it was bigger than most With a crew and good captain well seasoned Concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms When they left fully loaded for Cleveland Then later that night when the ship's bell rang Could it be the north wind they'd been feelin'? The wind in the wires made a tattle-tale sound When the wave broke over the railing And every man knew, as the captain did too 'Twas the witch of November come stealin' The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait When the gales of November came slashin' When afternoon came it was freezing rain In the face of a hurricane west wind When suppertime came, the old cook came on deck Sayin' "Fellas, it's too rough to feed ya" At seven PM a main hatchway caved in He said, "Fellas, it's been good to know ya" The captain wired in he had water comin' in And the good ship and crew was in peril And later that night when his lights went out of sight Came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald Does anyone know where the love of God goes When the waves turn the minutes to hours? The searchers all say they'd have made Whitefish Bay If they'd put fifteen more miles behind her They might have split up or they might have capsized They may have broke deep and took water And all that remains is the faces and the names Of the wives and the sons and the daughters Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings In the rooms of her ice-water mansion Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams The islands and bays are for sportsmen And farther below, Lake Ontario Takes in what Lake Erie can send her And the iron boats go as the mariners all know With the gales of November remembered In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee Superior, they said, never gives up her dead When the gales of November come early - Dave  11661.5 #2 2:37PM
Funny, I was reminded of that too  - Spoonful_O_Sugar  544.4 #323 3:03PM

Hopefully it will all be figured out by Christmas 2015 when I'll be there.  - TrueFromOzLovesDisney  450.4 #418 7:18PM
I would just be thrilled if there was ever an AP Event when I was there!  Some people really don't understand how fortunate they are!  In 5 years of having an AP the only perk I have gotten was when I won the lottery to get to see Carsland perform-opening. Those are some precious memories and photos! It was worth the $$$ it cost to make an extra trip down. Be happy - DeneciePie  324.8 #684 7:29PM

It's amazing how even with all the sound and color and 3D of today... Walt's originals still keep them speechless.
My son is addicted to video games.  When we went there last week he insisted on going inside watch the old cartoons.  He was mesmerized for quite a while.  Nice to know they haven't lost touch with old school classics. - potatohead25  575.6 #304 4:51PM

My first time seeing meet the Robinsons and they had this cool quote at the end of the movie... Could you imagine the dinner conversation with this great man...
Even though this movie was underrated, the message is great. The thinking of progress and moving forward is really presented in a way Walt would have thought too. - BaseballMickey_CM  6233.9 #12 2:01PM
