Grew up a few blocks from Disneyland, watching the fireworks from my front lawn every night made me a life long Disneyland fan. As soon as I was old enough I went to work in the park for 5 fabulous years. Now I am a student and stay at home mommy.

Update: they are parking the Buzz section of the Toy Story lot now. The line for the bus is about 30 minutes according to the cast member I asked. We decided to just walk over instead of waiting!

A cast member in front of bag check is advising AP holders and multi day ticket holders to go to DCA first because Disneyland is nearly at capacity!
Earlier they were already directing traffic to the convention center parking lot. Its very busy. Today will be the first time I walk to the parks from my house Lol. Don't want to deal with a lot of traffic just to park. - RickChavez

Since you have young children be sure to take advantage of parent switch so that you and hubby can both enjoy the rides the kids can't or won't go on. Basically all you need to do us wait in line as a family and when you get to the front tell the cast member you want to do parent switch. One parent stands to the side with the kids while the other parent rides and then you switch. I'm not sure exac More...
When my kids were little I would put them all in matching bright colored shirts so they could be easily spotted in a crowd. Teach them to look for Disney cast members if they get lost. There is also a baby care center with mini potties and a place to feed baby. I would be happy to send you a current park map so you can show the kids and plan your "attack". I can tell you now that you will have a magical visit! The Disneyland hotel is a great way to make your trip even more magical! Goofy is usually walking around in the lobby, the pool is great way to take a break from the parks and the room itself is something that the kids will remember when their older.
