if your planning on flying, check the prices for Southwest for specials and that will gauge how often you would fly... if you drive, would you drive during the week days or weekends 15 hour drive (?) In my humble opinion, you would love every moment in DL and make it a point to go often........... Do it, Do it, Do it!
I live in UT & it's only as limited as you make it. I bought us APs last year to make us go on vacation more & it worked, we spent 25 days there with our AP. The discounts you get save lots of $ also, we stay on property & the $ we have saved this past year have payed for over 2 of our 5 APs. Plus you also get the benefits of Limited Time AP Specials. I'm a Utah resident and AP holder. Our family of four has had APs for the last few years. Before we got our APs we were going to Disneyland for one week out of the year. With our passes, we've been able to increase that a bit. We don't go a ton, but we can head down for fall break, or even a random few days really easily. It's almost given us incentive to spend a little more time down in DLR as a family than we would have otherwise. It's just a matter of gas and a cheap hotel room and we're good to go! It does take a little planning to save up the money for the renewal, but they have ALWAYS paid for themselves with how much we've used them! Hope this helps a bit! - cmogo
