Looking for a Sofia the First update. We'll be down the end of next month & our 3.5yr old is getting her first BBB makeover. Of course, she wants Princess Sofia which is so hard to find! Do they have the dress in the park yet? Any meet & greet? Thanks all!

hi! Only merch that I've seen of Sofia are pins, a few shirts and other small things, but no dress nor a meet and greet yet. But, they do carry the Disney princess merch in Fantasy Faire and Fantasyland - BaseballMickey  9025.0 #14 10:02AM
My daughter loves Sofia too. The show was a lot of fun. Ill keep an eye out and let you know. I haven't seen any Sofia dresses yet. - LaPearleNoir  3137.7 #55 10:05AM
If you have time I would check Etsy for Sophia the First stuff. I have seen a few amulets listed that look very pretty. You may also be able to find dresses on there as well. If you are a bit crafty you could maybe make a purple tulle skirt for your princess to wear? - letsrckthis  161.5 #2696 10:14AM

Anyone ever camped & gone to the parks? Looking to kill two birds with one stone & get in a camping trip & DL trip. Any suggestions?

We stay at Anaheim RV Village. It's on Ball rd. nice clean very close! - SueBayou  2019.2 #98 5:20PM
Is that the one with the rv wash? - DisneyVacationLover  619.8 #383 5:22PM
Yes - SueBayou  2019.2 #98 5:22PM
Stay away from the one on Habor. It's a homeless camp. They have sheds and porches. It's gross! - SueBayou  2019.2 #98 5:26PM
That is funny Sue. We stayed there last minute last year. It wasn't that bad. Driving through the neighborhood to get there was interesting. We stayed at Anaheim harbor RV park. It wasn't too bad at all. But, I do want to try the one you stayed at. It looks really nice. - DisneyVacationLover  619.8 #383 7:46PM
Anaheim harbor is now a homeless RV park. They have parking lot size spaces in front for short stays, but the rest of it is month to month. Trust me, don't stay there. - SueBayou  2019.2 #98 8:01PM
Please don't kill any birds, lol. :). Good luck with camping. It sounds like a fun adventure. - Vegan7LuvsStitch  1057.7 #212 7:36PM
If you are willing you can stay down at the beach. Huntington beach has a nice camping area (bolsa chica state beach) and it's about a 20 min drive to Disneyland depending on traffic. :) - disneymommy0910  234.4 #1688 5:25PM
Oh that might be perfect! We tow a pop-up so I don't mind driving a little. - marsdenmom  15.4 #9338 7:18PM

FYI for Bay Area MWs-- Southwest is having a 72-hour sale on flights out of Sac & SFO to SNA for only $49 (one way, comes out to about $100 RT) for mid-August to either sept or oct, I think.

Anyone know what FP rides are on what systems? I found a list online once but can't find it now. Trying to put together a FP strategy for our summer trip😳😜

If I understood this correctly the two parks run separate and roger rabbit in toon town is separate from the rest of DL. My trick is to try to be there for opening rope drop before it gets wicked crowded and keeping a good eye on FP window times. Plus clearing one land before moving to the next so I'm there isn't too much downtime going back and forth. Hope this helps have an awesome trip. - PopcornYeti  378.6 #683 6:03AM
Thank you for a much better response. - Evilstitch  338.5 #813 6:39AM

Oops- are separate. - LilSterner  5828.4 #26 7:42AM
I'm not sure, but I think they linked them all now. Sorry I'm not more help. - Evilstitch  338.5 #813 5:24AM
Thanks! We were just there with friends who wanted to go all over the place & my inner OCD was going crazy over the inefficiency! I kept my mouth shut (& of course still had a great time) but it took three days to do see everything we usually see in a day or two. - marsdenmom  15.4 #9338 6:13AM
Lol. You sound like me. I always have a plan in my head as far as knocking out all the big rides first thing. It's a Disney ocd thing and i get teased like crazy! But everyone always has a good time :-) - JNewie  241.2 #1605 6:58AM

Why do I read that other "fan site" (that shall go unnamed)?! Such a downer! Makes me feel like getting APs was a bad idea, the parks r too crowded to be worth visiting, etc. Sucks the magic right out of it! Time to get my park news somewhere else...

Summer is always crowded. You'll love it during the slow season.. - Nyghtngale  572.3 #408 10:24AM
I agree that the article was a bit harsh; but it was honest nonetheless. I like MP because of that. To those that say: "I love disneyland no matter how crowded it is.". Let me ask: Will it still be magical when it takes an hour just to find a parking spot, to get on your favorite rides, to purchase a dolewhip or churro? Because that's where the park is headed is what I got from the article. - littlemsfrecklesCM  250.1 #1482 11:17AM
um, yup. - nicoleface  1753.2 #116 11:18AM
It would still be TOTALLY worth it. And it will be when I visit in three weeks. So looking forward to it 😊😊 - bearlove  158.2 #2746 11:22AM
Definitely worth it. - RandyNewman  402.2 #640 11:32AM
It's obviously worth it becaus of the amount of people you see. Disneyland is a place where you can go for a day or a week an escape from everything. There's a reason you can't hear the noise from the 5 even though it's right there. Disnyland is about magic and making memories whether it's crowded or not. Some of the best memories I have are from talking to complete strangers in line for an hour. So yes. Disneyland is always worth it and it will always be worth it because for me, and so many others, it's home. - lostgirl7988  697.8 #338 11:33AM

It's official, we're upgrading our tickets to AP next month! Already planning big trips for May, Sept, Dec, & March with hopefully a few quick trips in between. ✨so excited!!✨ Any insider AP tips I should know about?

Don't forget about the discounts on food and merchandise. Be sure to show your AP when purchasing those. - ScooterMike  1963.0 #102 7:18AM
If you lose it for whatever reason, it's $20 for a replacement. You do however, get a complimentary ticket once for the whole year if you left it a home or whatever. AP discounts are being cut sometime next month, so take advantage of that. Congrats on your decision to get an AP! ☺ - iFramedRogerRabbit  1957.6 #104 7:16AM
Do you mean the 10 or 15% off (depending on the AP) you get at various restaurants/stores? That's not continuing?? :( That was one of the reasons I was considering getting one, even though I'm 1,000 miles away. - PeachKay  311.1 #965 7:19AM
They've been planning to cut it off for a little over year now. There's talk that Premiums will still have the discount, but even that will be cut down to 10% from 20%. - iFramedRogerRabbit  1957.6 #104 7:42AM
That really sucks their thinking about doing that. OFF WITH THERE HEADS!!!! LoL - bigpete  277.2 #1222 7:45AM
Yes, food and merchandise discounts are great! Also, APs sometimes get great deals on Disney hotels! The prices are listed online in the AP section of the DL website, I believe. Premium is the best deal for people who don't live in Southern California because they don't have any blackout days and your parking is included. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.7 #330 7:22AM
They moved it back to the end of the year the last I checked - acesmagic  122.7 #3348 7:55AM

By its a small world is a great spot, especially the evening one because of the lights of small world behind it - MarshaMouse  5055.5 #34 1:57PM
ask the CM where its starting from, most likely small world.  if its starting there you can go right across from SW in that little area and its usually empty.  on tuesday when i went i got there 15 mins before and it was still empty. the little spot next to pixie hallow is also nice since the parade will be passing right in front of you. - chris.  2511.4 #71 1:59PM
