Heading to the parks tomorrow to celebrate my birthday there for the first time! On my to do list, well besides RSR, is to get a picture with the Club 33 sign for a new profile pic (hope I didn't give away how old I'm going to be ;-P). I can't wait!

Ugh, I'be been at the Parks for two days with my kids, and for some reason my youngest (5) hasn't caught the Disney magic yet. He keeps saying that he wants to go home. We pretty much did everything in Fantasyland tonight and he still wasn't satisfied. He ended the night by saying he doesn't like Disneyland! My oldsst (8) is having the time of his life! I have two days in the park left with them a More...
Why not make a "hunt" for Mickey? Send your wife off with the 8 year old for an hour or two so he doesn't get grumpy about the lack of rides, and go look for Mickey with your youngest. Along the way pick up some treats and maybe he will enjoy the adventure. Just walking around and seeing the magic helps a lot ^_^ - KylaShea

It sounds like you have my two boys. My younger son would join me in living there while my oldest son could care less about Disneyland. He complains so much while we are there that we have stopped forcing him to go. Unfortunately, Disneyland is not for everyone and until he changes his mind we will respect his desire and not drag him there every chance we get. Hopefully both of our kids have a change of heart someday :) - tattooedmum

Getting ready for day 2 at the parks... Got on Mickey's death wheel (Sliding) for the first time, walked right passed Tony Hawk and didn't recognize him, and was able to get my aunt to watch the fireworks, Fantasmic, and Aladdin... Let's see what today brings!
