Hey fellow MWers. I figured i should start being accountable for my healthier lifestyle by posting on here and maybe get the support of others. I started the p90x lean program yesterday, and my goal is to get down to a good weight before this Fall's Dapper Day. I'll reward myself with fresh new duds if i hit my goals...
I went up to Disneyland on the day of the Superbowl... and it just so happened to be my birthday that day too. This is the first year I am an AP, and also the first time I've been up there for my birthday.
I only wish I had known it was Dapper Day. I would have had an even happier birthday at the happiest place on earth. I may be late in saying this, but the cast members and even the random More...
The last time i went up to disney and DCA I decided to get the annual pass (woohoo!). however, i haven't gone up since. and that was back in April. since then, i've been thinkin about going up by myself. What's everyone's thoughts on going solo to the happiest place on earth?
Hello fellow MouseWaiters! This is my first post. In the last few years, I've become more and more of a Disney junkie... and Vinylmations are my new crack. I've been wanted to check out the new tron area and also see WoC... hopefully before the end of the year. Any tips on how to enjoy it?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
