Just an FYI: in response to MouseWait's twitter post a couple days ago, not ALL Cast Members have phone/radio access; in fact, the majority of us working the ODV carts have no radio nor phone. In addition, the ODV carts do NOT give out ice, as we've been running our hands through it all day and it's not sanitary. I just wanted to make sure we're clear. Hope everyone has a great 55th anniversary, I More...
Soooooo...even though I put on my application that I couldn't start work till the 19th, I have Traditions scheduled for the 18th, which is my last day of school. So I have to miss my senior breakfast. If they take away my graduation, then I may go nutsies!!
~make fun of me~ I'm just barely almost not an adult, i secretly love Lady GaGa, I'm almost an eagle (boy) scout, I can speak Spanish well (with a white boy accent), my computer is 12 years old, and I spend most of my time helping my boss babysit her 4 kids. Oh and did I mention I'm obsessed with Disneyland? I guess that's a given lol
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
