I'm Allyson, but call me Ally. I'm a 1940s girl. I wear dresses and red lipstick all the time. I LOVE Judy Garland because she has the most amazing voice i've ever heard. Walt Disney is my inspiration. They will always have a special place in my heart
Hey! I remember reading something a while back about a mousewait reunion or something at the Grand in October. When is it, and is it still possible to get a room there? My family needs an october trip before our passes expire.
Wow.. I haven't been on MW in what seems like forever! School has been priority lately... Today is my birthday and I wish I could be at Disneyland when I turn 17. I hope everyone who is at the parks has a great day! Please post pics!
Not live, but I finally had my Matterhorn Sundae! It was a leaning Matterhorn, but it was still amazing. Had to have a delicious treat before the ultimate 6 hr wait time that is the drive home. Can't wait to come back and attempt this by myself!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
