Question for all of you MWers! I'm trying to figure out what the weather is going to be for my trip on the 21st! Anyone know if there is somewhere I can find a forecast that is more than 10 days? I'm praying it doesn't rain but if tere is a chance it will I plan on coming prepared ☔
So I haven't been on in forever because it just makes me sad to think that I'm not at all close to going to Disneyland... But my forfend surprised me and told me her parents are letting her take a friend for her 16th birthday and she is along me! I am so excited!!!!! 24 days and counting 😃 just wanted to pop in and say hello and goodnight💤 I plan on being in the lounge a lot more now
Look what I got! Forever 21 is the best I was sad that they didn't have the little mermaid one thoughI asked someone who worked there and apparently they have been getting lots of Disney stuff more recently which makes me happy and if you see it on mousewait but not at your local forever 21 likeliness is they have it and it's just not on the floor yet!
So for all those MWers who went and saw Lion king in 3D, did anyone else bawll like a baby when Mufasa died?!? Both my friend and I were sitting in a packed theater with tears streaming down our faces and sniffling our noses! It was pretty bad! And to top it off I started crying when they showed the castle I started crying because it reminded me that I haven't been to disneyland in a year!
For those of you MWers who either love the pumpkin muffins from DL or love to bake, I have the recipe for you! These are absolutely amazing and really moist! The picture beneath is if the ones I made! Here is the link to the recipe step-by-step! http://bit.ly/olgtIT Hope everyone enjoys
So my mom and I have been trying to plan a trip to the parks for the past couple of months and I don't think we're going to be able to make it I haven been to the parks since my birthday last year and it is really starting to get to me . Is there any possibility someone can pick me up the maps? I feel like they keep me somewhat connected to the parks. Please and thank you to everyone!
So a while ago I had a post about how I needed to design shirts for my school's homecoming, and it was a Tim Burton theme! Well I just wanted to share the final product with you all! The quote is on the back, and the rest is on the front! I wanted to thank all of those that helped me brainstorm!
I am in need of some mousewait creativity and am hoping you all can help! So my schools homecoming theme this year is Tim Burton! Pretty cool
I think ! Anyway! I am in charge of designing this years shirts and I am at a complete loss! On the front I need something smaller and more generic Tim
Burton, not any specific movie, so any ideas for that? And then on the back of the shirts I need to d More...
So after a long hiatus I am back! Anyone else ever find that they will be addicted to Mousewait for a month or two, and then not go on at all for a month or two? And for your enjoyment, I have included this picture for those of you wondering where to find good Disneyland pictures for your phone, disneylands fb page has some very nice ones such as this :)
So, I have a non-Disney question for you all, and I need some help! My family is hosting a foreign exchange student from France this summer for 3 weeks. We really need some ideas on how to entertain her! Sadly, we live in Rocklin, right by Sac, so it is too much money/ a long drive to take her to DL! we are hoping to take her to Tahoe for a few nights, and maybe San Francisco for a night, but othe More...
Mr. Disney was one of five children, four boys and a girl. He was the fourth born Disney son. He was named after his parents pastor and friend Walter Parr, a preacher at St. Paul Congregational Church. The pastor, in turn, will later name his son Elias, after Walt's father.
Most of Walt's childhood was spent on a farm in Marceline, Missouri, where he began drawing, painting and selling pictures to neighbors and family friends. In 1911, the family moved to Kansas City, where his love for trains really developed. His Uncle, Mike Martin, was a train Engineer who worked on the route between Fort Madison, Iowa, and Marceline. Walt would later work a summer job with the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the travelers. To read more about Walts love for trains

To watch a short biography of Walts life:
Walt and Lillian Disney with unnamed friend, London, 1935.
Walt Disney in my opinion, is a wonderful example of the American dream! He represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain, Walt Disney was a great man! He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world! Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon characters we all love to watch today. :) He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of the magical playgrounds that ties us all together, Disneyland and Disney World. Had he been alive today he would be 112 years old! Happy birthday Walt! Thank you so much for believing in your dreams! You are a true inspiration.
In honor of today, it would be fun if we all mentioned our favorite quote from Mr. Disney. I'll go first, I have many, but this one always sticks out:
"I've always been interested in the past and history and I think it's vital."
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
