So just short of me calling to cancel my honeymoon trip to DL, can someone please give me a current list of planned rehab closures during the time of November 11th-18th. I've seen Casey Jr. and the Storybook Canal will be closed through the 14th. Indy is set to be closed the full time, and now I've read that Thunder Mountain will be closed as well? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
seriously??!! There is so much in the parks to see than just those attractions. When rides are renovated or fixed it is usually low crowd time and you can see all the great shows, run tom sawyers island, ride all the small kid rides (classic) and don't forget DCA which is like a new park. I know you are from Florida I&M but there is plenty see and do here even with closures. - Plumiegirl

I can't go all the time, I'm in NorCal. I don't think there is a huge amount of time, when everything is open. Just how it is for big theme parks. But there's always SO much to do! :) 😊 - DisneyFanZoe 1083.8 #77 2:29PM

Just my two cents, but I would go anyways. I can understand you wanting to be sure Indy is open, since you've planned your trip around being able to show Marion. But Cars Land and RSR is truly amazing. You may be pleasantly surprised at how awesome it really is. I didn't think I'd care for it and now Cars Land is one of the places I can't wait to visit first when I go to the parks. And I'd go with IDVandalSkipper on the Big Thunder refurb timing being in January. I highly doubt they'd close two major attractions at the same time within the same park. Also, Holiday time is magical at DL. :) - Alicewhoareyou

I'm so sorry! Indy is my favorite ride, and I would be so bummed to hear it's closed during my vacation! I would definitely venture into DCA. The new Buena Vista Street is really beautiful, and Cars Land is really well done. RSR is not like Test Track despite what others may say. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing for you. :P Also, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is the sleeper hit of Cars Land in my opinion. Christmas time is beautiful in DL, and you'll be on your honeymoon! That's always a positive! I'm sorry you can't reschedule, but I know you'll make the best of it and have a wonderful vacation! :D - thelittlestmouse

So given the news that Indy will be closed during our Honeymoon (I hold onto the "Information subject to change" idea), When is a good off season time to go to DL? I've been in February, but that was about seven years ago. Is there any other time after the typical "tax return" days that would be good?
I'm not sure there is an off season any more! Maybe September, after school starts, but even during deepest, darkest Winter, if it's not raining, there are crowds. That's been our experience. - pharaoh
