The only issue we had with grad night was the choice of language some of the grads were using.

I think they close DCA to the public early. We were there last year on a grad nite and didn't notice it! - MJmouse  274.0 #1030 7:35AM
I'm Glad to hear this :) - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  57.5 #4240 7:54AM
We were there in may though so I'm not sure if they get busier... - MJmouse  274.0 #1030 8:05AM
Last year they closed parts(carsland and pier) of DCA in the evening for the grads. There will be lots of kids in the parks all day though.  - JenGwen323  1526.7 #93 8:04AM
Thank you. Given that information maybe we'll plan a trip to the beach on those days :) - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  57.5 #4240 1:44PM

Nah, those folks just delete the results 😜  - dizneedude   760.4 #220 10:12AM
Ah shoot does deleting after the game is finished mean the wins don't get recorded? Whoops. I apologize to everyone I ever deleted a game on! I must've deleted a bunch of my own wins too. Just OCD and like to keep the screen clear. 😳 - QueenMiranda  399.1 #516 2:16PM
I think it also lowers your average score, so winner loses the win count, but the one that deletes loses their points. - dizneedude   760.4 #220 2:35PM

I would try first aid. Sensory issues are fairly common so they may have them on site

All are within a 3 mile or less driving distance from the parks. Best Buy Chapman and Lewis (across from the Block shopping mall), Target at Harbor and Chapman, CVS pharmacy at Katella and Euclid. Take a look at the vending machine in the tram area and WODisney. Oh and there is a Marshalls in Fullerton on harbor and Chapman (There are 2 chapmans, one south of the park and one north of the parks) and I swear the mens clothing section had all the electronics and there were noise canceling ear buds that might be low cost but call before you go. - Plumiegirl  8572.4 #3 10:03PM

Yes they still have free parking - Fantasmicfan1  1001.4 #168 1:53AM
We've had great experiences with Priceline around DL and in other areas. Convention Center Hilton, both Holiday Inns, and Marriott Suites are a few examples of hotels we've been placed at for under $50/night. Some do charge for parking, but that charge doesn't bother us. The only one we were a little unhappy with was the Travel Lodge a few years ago, but we entered a low ball price of $30/night on a whim, not thinking we'd actually get it, lol. For that price, it was fine. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  573.8 #320 2:36PM
wow really good price! - OhanaPhoto  3601.3 #30 8:40PM

I've bought the temp. Tattoos that you can write your number on. All kids in our party wear them inside their forearm and we show them disney badges when we get there so they know who is safe to talk too

Unfortunately kids can be very fast and out of your sight in a second. I've had it happen to me where he is right next to me and the next second I can't see him. Last time at Disneyland this happened when getting off the storybook boats. Luckily he knows to stay in place but my heart still sank. Even the most alert parent can get caught off guard. - aidensmama  340.1 #641 11:33AM

Make sure your child knows a cell phone number or write it down and Pin it in their pocket. Also, remind them to ask a cast member for help. Show them what cast members might be wearing. - DeaG  9.3 #10278 12:15PM
This is such a serious topic, but I have a slight smile thinking of how we lost my dad this summer...and he doesn't have a phone or remember any of our numbers (he just pushes a # on the landline at home). We found him not long after, but my boys and mom and I all giggle about losing grandpa still! HE CAN TELL YOU ANY BASEBALL STAT THAT EVER OCCURRED, BUT CAN'T REMEMBER OUR PHONE NUMBER! 😜 I LOVE my daddy! Great tip about the phone number in his pocket!!! Next time!!πŸ‘ - TinkerSchelle  1436.5 #100 10:56PM
There's a kiosk in DTD that personalizes leather bracelets. I had one made with my dad's cell number on it in case my mom (dementia) wandered away from him when they were out and about. - susieQzee  555.7 #330 6:37PM
Hey...thats why you looked familiar today possibly..wondering if it was ypir family this summer that we were trying to help find the Dad/Grandfather who they lost...he was supposed to stay on a bench in the Hub and ended up wondering to the gates? Was that I your family? Tinkerschelle? Lol! - yellowtonka  241.4 #1371 7:06PM
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚-oh the poor grandpas! No-that one wasn't my daddy: he left afterPOTC to get a stroller and the fam thought he must have then headed to exit to go to DCA(the plan) actually-they got there-no gpa! Gma went back and he was still waiting w/stroller! (Apparently my dad DID stay put!)πŸ˜±πŸ‘ - TinkerSchelle  1436.5 #100 10:42PM

While I never had the pleasure of meeting her she inspired me to complete RAKs in my community. So thankful for her impact on my life and others. Thoughts and prayers to all her family at this difficult time

She will be truly missed and never forgotten..her smile and laugh were so infectious and she was somebody that you just wanted to be around as much as you could. Her positive vibrations just bounced off her to everyone who was around her and her caring and kindness was beyond anyone that I had met before. I don't think you guys really know how much she really did for MouseWait and helped shape this community..I will miss her so much but I am so happy and blessed that I got to know her and call her my friend..She touched so many of our lives in such a positive way that she will never be forgotten and I will forever cherish the memories I had with her and many of you thoughts are with her loving Husband E818, her Brother Shangz and the rest of the Dahulament clan that loves her so much... - Dave  12402.7 #2 12:34PM
She loved you too. Lol. You always made her laugh. - Mrsblue  693.1 #246 12:45PM
Still, hours after receiving the very sad news of her passing, I am at a loss for the right words... She was a treasure to our family. She blessed us in HUGE ways with her beautiful friendship. The impact she had on this community of friends was nothing short of amazing. The world needs more of the love, kindness, generosity, joyfulness, positivity... that this gem of a woman daily lived out. Our family is covering her family in prayers for comfort and peace during what we know to be a very sad and difficult time. That one of a kind light up your entire day smile she so generously showered so many of us with is going to be so incredibly missed. Love you, friend... Thanks for being that, a VERY special friend, to our family AND to the MouseWait family. - MrsPrinceCharming 1:56PM

Turn to page 35 if you want to go left, turn to page 50 if you want to go right. *turns to page 50* you have fallen into the Rivers of America. - chris.  2510.9 #45 4:51PM
My thumb was on page 35 still, so it didn't really happen. 😁 - Waites4DodgerEars_CM  995.5 #169 5:17PM

It's the only Disney movie I've never finished watching. At out the parts I've seen I love the dancing hippos

I will always have fond memories of my grandma taking me to see Fantasia when I was around 8. So when Disney rereleased the movie in 1990 I took my husband who I was dating at the time to see it. He fell asleep during the movie. I guess it wasn't for him. Thanks for the post.πŸ˜„ - RadiatorSprings4Ever  1040.0 #158 12:08AM
wow that is a sweet story :) - otilegna  2070.2 #62 12:19AM
Still one of my favorite Disney productions! Although I wasn't terribly impressed with the "Sorcerers Apprentice" with Nicholas Cage. - DisneyDavidEMT  2016.1 #66 11:24PM
i never watched the live sorcerer apprentice, but i'm glad they incorporate the brooms there - otilegna  2070.2 #62 11:39PM
The brooms and the mops were the best scene in the live version. - DisneyDavidEMT  2016.1 #66 12:24AM
I have no idea about which scene is my favorite. I love them all. What I remember most about this movie is putting the tape into the VCR, getting my 3 babies their pillows and blankets to watch it, and the next thing I knew was 2 hour naps for all of us. I still have the tape, and can't wait to share it with our grandson. - Sugarbuzz  184.1 #2100 9:11AM
Awww. I will say the Vhs version are more nice compare to the BluRay version (even if they try to make it as the roadshow version) - otilegna  2070.2 #62 10:41AM
Thanks so much for posting this! Fantasia is my favorite film! (I'm a music major.) So neat to find out it was released on my birthday. And we are birthday buddies too! - JamieFaye  199.5 #1908 10:45AM
Ohhhh sweet! Yeah i guess that is also one reason why i love fantasia - otilegna  2070.2 #62 12:37PM
