NEWS: trams are slow and one way only. Don't use trams. They stall and waste time

You can even walk across through Downtown Disney parking and through Downtown Disney. Maybe a little bit longer, but better people watching and get to see Downtown. We almost always do that at end of the night. - DLKenCA  2300.3 #55 1:13PM
I normally walk from M&F. It's really not that far. If there is a line for trams it's about the same time & good exercise. - DLKenCA  2300.3 #55 11:03AM
Same w me. I love walking  - MaxTheDoggie  230.3 #1533 11:12AM
Me too! - ShariRenee  6273.5 #14 11:24AM
I almost always walk back at the end of the day... Not at often at the beginning though - missmimi90  2002.4 #69 11:29AM
I just got on the tram and there was a return tram disembarking. There is some kind of construction going on, though.  - JenGwen323  1728.3 #90 11:44AM
I might start doing that when it's busy. - sawman911  670.7 #276 11:50AM

Okay,  I just heard the parade announcers for Oakland's Children's Holiday Parade say that Walt Disney got his idea for Disneyland after visiting Oakland's Children's Fairyland.  Here is their website http://fairyland.org/

He got it sitting on a bench in Griffith Park...no? - april_december  299.7 #856 8:19PM
Yes? - PrincessDuckie  824.4 #205 8:27PM
Both are kind of correct. He got the concept of Disneyland while at Griffith Park and he went to several amusement parks including Fairyland to get ideas for how Disneyland would be. - missmimi90  2002.4 #69 8:44PM
Thanks april-december. I remember about bench in Griffith Park too. - E-Ticket  1379.0 #111 7:05AM
I went to Fairyland quite a few times as kid. It definitely has a similar feel to old Fantasyland. Walt's final product is so much more than an amusement park, and I think everyone can agree on that. - BeatleMike  635.3 #293 8:54PM
Hi beatlemike. I went to fairlyand as a kid too. I need to see it again since I don't remember muc about it.  - E-Ticket  1379.0 #111 7:07AM
I've been wanting to take my son when we visit my parents, but he keeps getting older and older, I'm not sure if he will appreciate it. It's not Disneyland in it's timelessness, but for $8 what's the worst he can say lol - BeatleMike  635.3 #293 3:07PM
I get all my ideas when sitting on the 🚽 - philliprocks  1165.5 #139 9:28PM
Are they 💩 ideas? - sawman911  670.7 #276 9:42PM

So we hear that Luigi's Rollickin Roadsters will open early 2016. https://shar.es/1sDd73 Here is what my best guess it will be like.... Refer to this video clip from Cars 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ILbqMMqz8w&sns=em and imagine a combination of trackless ride system rides aquatopia and Pooh's Humny Hunt Tokyo. (Both attractions can be viewed on YouTube) My guess-lots of smooth spinning an
