Hi everyone...what better people to ask but you guys. I was wondering if anyone has spent Christmas Eve and or Christmas in Disneyland? Was it worth it? Was there any special character things going on those 2 days? My family and I are thinking of doing that this year, but not sure if there's anything different on those 2 particular days.
We've spent many Xmas eves at DL in past years, before they blocked it out that is. It's even more magical with all the beautiful lights and Xmas spirit. I highly recommend it! - debbiev

That itself is really special. It's also not that crowded. I have dozens of photos from that night. Not to be missed if you are here. - Tom 3881.0 #7 8:31PM
I just posted a photo I took that night. - Tom 3881.0 #7 8:41PM
I spent last Christmas at Disneyland. It was crazy busy but I enjoyed it anyway. Hey, it's Disneyland :) - VeloMouseGirl

We went a few years ago for Xmas day & loved it so much we are going to be there again this year! It wasn't very busy Xmas day & it was wonderful w/ all the decorations, parade, snow...& EVERYONE had the holiday spirit! It was like one BIG family - visitors, CMs, Mrs Claus, & all the characters. - toniasmith

My husband and I were thinking of getting another puppy and not sure a boy or gir yet, but what are some cute ideas for a Disney dog name?
When I choose animal names I always yell them out loud. Just to make sure I don't look rediculous walking the neighborhood yelling for said pet. 😜 - SueBayou

like naming a child: whisper the name, shout as if you are at a park and say the WHOLE name as though they are graduating from an Ivy League - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1802.6 #42 4:06PM
Lol, that's exactly what we did! Cause you know you'll be yelling that name a lot for the next 10-15 years! We joke that our dog's middle name is "NO!" - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 4:09PM
So true. Also choose one that doesn't sound like"No!" - My_HappyPlace 65.6 #3489 4:10PM
When I was very young I named our dogs Heman and Shera. A few days later my parents and I went to the local lake and my mom had to call the dogs. She was so embarrassed that she and my dad changed their names immediately. - missyhidy 242.0 #1092 4:19PM
I named my dog Keno. Reminds me of the girls in laughlin walking around saying Keno. - bigpete 265.1 #873 9:37PM
My brother-in-law wanted to name his dog 'Grandma'. 'Grandma, get off the couch! Quit pooping on the floor. Bad girl!' - PrincessKristin 776.6 #124 9:56PM
There's Lady.. Tramp.. any of the 101 Dalmations.. Dug.. um.. um.. there's a lot hehe - Jacqueline

We almost named ours Dug, but it just didn't fit him once we brought him home, lol! - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 3:50PM
Aw. I can't bring myself to get another dog after I lost my first one. Too painful. - Jacqueline 546.7 #205 4:06PM
Dug's definitely a hit or miss type of name depending on the dog! - Jacqueline 546.7 #205 4:07PM
Aw, yeah I understand--we lost our first one last summer (it was unexpected, and he was only 5). I love our new little guy so much, but I definitely spent some time soul searching over whether or not we were ready for another :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 4:27PM

I know I can count on my fellow MW'ers! Has anyone ever booked a hotel through Last Minute Travel.com? I found a great rate on a room, but never used them before, any opinions? Good or Bad☺
From an early comment it brought it to my attention to ask...has anyone has there pet stay at the Disney Kennel and if so what's your opinion of it? Please help us decide to do it or not?🐶
We've used the kennels several times. Very clean with cage type kennels. They give your dog water and food ( or you can bring your own). It's $20 per day and you have to check them out within an hr of the park closing. The CMs do not handle the dogs so you do have to periodically go and take your dog out so they can take care of "business"! There is a small yard in the kennel area ( with a big, beautiful mural of Lady and the Tramp). We've taken our Skullie for a short walk in the promenade area. Just be prepared for people stopping and wanting to pet your dog! Dogs are allowed on the MF trams (not sure about TS buses since we've never parked there with our dog). - Gia

Yes, we have used it, and we're very happy with it. It's very convenient and clean. It is a kennel, so it's loud and your pet is kept in a confined area. You will need to bring vaccination records and they require you to return every few hours to walk and play with your pup. It wasn't crowded the weekend we came, but they do recommend that you arrive early in the day to ensure that you can board your pet. Also, your dog is allowed to ride the tram from the parking structure (which is really fun!) and walk through security and the Esplanade. It's wonderful to have the whole family together! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

I've been lucky enough to stay at the Grand before, it is very very nice, the last few times we stayed at the Paradise Pier. I couldn't pass up the deal we got on the vacation package. I was happy with the Pier. Less expensive and still able to enjoy the perks of a resort hotel. I've also stayed at the Best Western Park Place Inn, right across the street from Disneyland and that wasn't too bad. We saved some money, but made up for it in the park. :-) good luck on your planning. - TigerLily76

I have such a hard time to sit and watch Disney movies if I don't have a trip upcoming cause it only fuels my fire to go more if I don't...does anyone else suffer from this to?
I'm the same! Especially when on MW. It's so nice to see the pics from the parks, but it makes me want to be there everyday, which I obviously can't do:( - giddy4disney
