Just another reason why I love Disneyland so much...... As an example a few years back while at Six Flags Magic Mountain I had an allergic reaction and went to first aid. They refused to do anything unless they called the paramedics to take me to the hospital! Yesterday at Disneyland my daughter Alexis was being very quiet. After taking her to first aid, they took her temperature it was 102.7. The More...
Ok my MW family! This is your friendly reminder. "Once Upon A Time" airs this Sunday night! For those of you heading to DL this weekend DON'T FORGET TO SET YOUR DVR! I saw the pilot back in July. It is AWESOME! And it is done by the guys that brought us Lost!
For those of you who are having serious withdrawals of the POTC smell, here's what you do: take a bunch of towels and get them soaking wet (do not ring them out!) next throw them in a hamper. Then wait! With in 1 to 2 days your room will have that oh so wonderful POTC smell!!!! Enjoy!!!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
