My bf and I went a few years ago and they did start to turn people away. What we ended up doing was leaving the park at 1-2pm resting for a couple hours and then came back and stayed in the park the rest of the night. I would say make sure you are in the park before dark and you should be fine
My girlfriends and I went a couple years ago! It was beautiful and amazing! I think everyone should go atleast once for NY! This year is my first year with premium pass so I'm not sure... We bought regular tickets for that night and got in fine. I think if you don't have a Pewmium pass the date is considered black out. Anyway have fun and Happy Anniversary!!! :) - Mickey3

Get in early! When I was there a couple years ago the park filled up around 1 or 2! Yikes! It's a long day but so awesome. Around 8 we found a place at the Plaza to sit and eat and we each took shifts staying at the table while others went to ride rides. - lovesyou21
