If you have an iPhone I recommend downloading the Nike + running app. It keeps track of your progress, talks to while your running, gives words of encouragement, and you can keep track of friends to monitor their progress and compete with them. I think it's a well put together app, and can help provide the motivation you're seeking.

Can't speak for 1/2-1/5, but 1/1 has always been really nice in comparison to the days preceding. I speculate this is due to Rose Parade, college football, and hangovers. Regardless, enjoy your visit.

As all AP holders only get one shot for early entry at each park, the deeper into summer you can wait the better. We went on the first day (19th) and it was already nuts at 7am. You should be good in July, most local APers will have most likely already used their DCA early entry.

I went today the wait for Stand By Radiator Spring Racers was a 45 min wait for single rider it was less than 10 min wait. All other attractions were pretty much walk on's or 10 min wait. - Cherry91 433.9 #289 2:31PM
