Put up our Disney tree last night and these are some of our new ornaments. I love that our tree gets fuller each year with new ornaments from our visits! Now that this tree is up the holidays officially start for us!
Well it's not Disneyland but for now it will have to help me get my Disney fill! Disney Store visit turned up some new shirts and Christmas ornaments for our Disney tree.
Was it busy today? I know with it being a statewide break from school for everyone in Utah, a lot of folks head to Disneyland.
Well it was a week ago tonight that we were spending our last night in Disneyland. Although we are bummed, we are filling our void by watching Little Mermaid tonight. We're thinking about making it a Disney movie weekend! Suggestions for other movies we should watch to help get our Disney fill?
Decided to buy some Disney dollars at the Chamber of Commerce this morning in DCA. Anyone else collect these or simply use them even? I think the kids will get a kick out of them and we saved one for their scrapbooks. This is the 2008 series.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
